Synopsis
With help from Timmy, Warren carries out a robbery at Price Slice, but things later go wrong when Walter shows up and Warren assaults him. Donna-Marie blackmails Mercedes. Felix hosts a wig fashion shoot to help cheer Martine up.Plot
Maxine is disturbed by a throwback notification on her phone reminding her of her wedding to Patrick seven years ago tomorrow. Fergus informs Warren that they will rob Price Slice today in broad daylight. Mercedes offers Donna-Marie Ā£2,000 for her silence. Fergus cancels time away with Trish to focus on the robbery. Martine tells Felix that she has a cancer wig appointment. She worries about the cancer dominating her life, so Felix insists they live in the moment. Fergus wants Warren to ensure the Deveraux family know that their thief is not playing games with them, so suggests that Warren steals from the safe, adding that Timmy has hacked into Martine's computer and found four potential safe codes.
Sylver tells Cher that Mercedes told him she took Eva. He is relieved when Cher reveals that her relationship with Mercedes has improved after their chat yesterday. Donna-Marie uses Mercedes' money to buy Romeo the expensive piece of DJ kit he deserves. She apologises to Cher for their spat yesterday and, upon learning that Cher and Romeo have had a wobble, has an idea to get her back on his side. Warren prepares for the robbery, but his plans are almost thwarted when Maxine goes searching for him and finds the duffel bag of tools. He manages to catch her before she sees what's inside and snaps, upsetting Maxine, who tells him about her and Patrick's upcoming wedding anniversary. Feeling bad, Warren offers to take Maxine away to help her forget about Patrick. Maxine feels lucky to have Warren by her side.
Cher gives Romeo the DJ kit that Donna-Marie bought for him. Romeo is overjoyed, and then learns that it was actually Donna-Marie who bought it for him when Cher's not around. Impressed with her kindness, Romeo calls Donna-Marie "mum" and is willing to give her another chance. Martine and Felix enjoy spending time together. Martine gets emotional as she opens up to Felix about her cancer fears, so Felix looks to cheer her up by hosting a wig fashion shoot. Warren breaks into Price Slice. Timmy distracts P.C. Franks when she shows up asking him if he's seen Brody. He then phones Warren, advising him to urgently leave the shop before he is caught by the police. Before he exits, Warren manages to break into the safe and steal its contents.
Felix and Martine dance in their wigs. Felix suggests Martine tries on another wig, and upon seeing her in it, thinks she looks just like she did thirty years ago when they started dating. As his feelings for Martine resurface, he leans in for a kiss. Fergus finds an expensive pair of pearl earrings in Warren's bag and encourages him to give them to Maxine, although he is unimpressed when he realises that Warren has forgotten to collect the CCTV on the way out. Sylver is under the impression he's been scammed when money disappears from his bank for a big job he hasn't even began. He wonders if Mercedes knows something when she fails to react to his revelation. Wearing a balaclava, Warren heads back into Price Slice and claims the CCTV. However, as he leaves, he comes face-to-face with Walter. Walter demands his thief drops the CCTV or else he will call the police. Warren violently shoves Walter to the ground and leaves. Walter pulls his phone from his pocket, but before he is able to phone for help, he loses consciousness.Cast
