Synopsis[]
A livid Mercedes demands an explanation from Cher. Fergus and Warren come up with a plan to ensure Fergus can gets his hands on Price Slice. Donna-Marie learns a big secret, and uses it to her advantage.
Plot[]
Mercedes confronts Cher. Donna-Marie applies for a payday loan so that she can buy Romeo his DJ kit, but her applications are unsuccessful. Mercedes recounts the cruel acts that Cher carried out to hurt her, before speaking out about the heartache she felt when Gabriel passed away back in 2015. A tearful Cher is speechless at the pain she has caused Mercedes. Mercedes points out that Cher put Tony and Diane through hell at the same time. Cher uses the fact that she wanted Sylver to herself to explain why she did what she did. She begs Mercedes not to tell Sylver anything. Mercedes banishes her from the flat so that she can be on her own.
Fergus thinks Timmy needs to get involved if they are going to claim possession of Price Slice. Warren is unconvinced that Timmy will be of any use, but Fergus already has an idea on how he can use Timmy to their advantage. Romeo tells Cher he overreacted about the party and wants to put their miscommunication behind them. An upset Cher apologises to Romeo and then tells him she is leaving. Imran reassures Brooke that everything will be okay between them. Brooke informs Imran that they understand that they are non-binary now. Imran is supportive and helps them realise that they have a great support network and everything is going to be alright. Romeo finds Mercedes and expresses his concerns about Cher. Mercedes brushes his worries off, so he reveals she has been doing some self-destructive things. Timmy is given an earpiece, which allows Fergus and Warren to listen to his conversation with Walter on a phone. Timmy pretends to be a property release representative and sets his sights on Price Slice. He asks Walter if he would like to consider selling up, but Walter refuses, as it is a family business and Martine would not agree.
Mercedes finds Cher at the bus stop and takes her on a walk. Ripley checks in on Brooke and how their split with Imran went. Brooke praises Imran; Ripley thinks it gives Brooke the opportunity to find someone special. They offer Brooke some work experience on their clothing stall and Brooke accepts. Goldie gives Donna-Marie a frosty reception in the pub car park. They bicker, which results in Goldie inadvertently revealing Romeo and Mercedes' affair. Mercedes explains to Cher that she knows about the skin bleaching. She tries to understand why Cher has behaved the way she has. Cher elaborates on how Mercedes stood in the way of her picture-perfect relationship with her father and how she is seriously damaged. She expresses a genuine apology to Mercedes. Mercedes supports Cher and believes that she has learnt her lesson, but needs professional help. Cher agrees to get the help she needs, but wonders what Mercedes will say to Sylver. Mercedes decides that she will keep on with the lie that it was her who stole Eva, but asks Cher to stick to her word that she will get help, promising that she will try her best to fix everything.
Walter outlines his encounter with Timmy to Martine. Martine describes Price Slice as a part of their family and that she does not know what they would do without it. Warren thinks that he and Fergus should quit whilst they're ahead, as he doesn't want to mess things up with Maxine. Fergus makes Warren realise that the only way to get to Felix is to get to his family, so Warren sets his mind on robbing Price Slice and scaring the Deveraux's so much that they never want to step foot inside the shop again. Donna-Marie finds Mercedes and lets on that she knows about her affair with Romeo; she vows to make Mercedes pay for her infidelity.

- When Mercedes McQueen speaks to Cher McQueen about her stillborn son, Gabriel McQueen, two inaccuracies arise: firstly, Mercedes states that Gabriel would be celebrating his "seventh birthday soon", however, Gabriel was born on 5th November 2015, making his seventh birthday 15 months and one week away. Secondly, Mercedes states she lost Gabriel "in the last month" of her pregnancy, although Gabriel was only six months when he was stillborn.
