Synopsis
John Paul is fearful of the dangerous situation unfolding in the village. When tragedy strikes, Darren can't contain his emotions. And Ollie's actions threaten to tear Luke and Cindy apartPlot
Jordan lays on the floor. Darren and Charlie think he is dead. Ella is worried about the police. Darren is confused about what is going on. He is horrified when he figures out that Charlie has stabbed Jordan, and tells Nancy to get to The Hutch as soon as possible. Mandy gets upset when she finds a photo of herself and Ella. P.C. Kiss arrives and takes Ella and Charlie to the police station, telling them that it's to keep them safe for now. Darren tells a worried James that Jordan is dead. When Nancy arrives, Darren tells her that he thinks Charlie killed Jordan. She is adamant that he is wrong. James breaks the news to Juliet and Sid that Jordan has been killed. Sid is distraught.
Cindy and Luke have an explosive argument. Cindy admits that she is scared over Luke's impending death and they reconcile. Marnie informs Misbah of Jordan's death. Marnie convinces Misbah not to tell Tom and Yazz so they can have their happy day. Ollie tries to apologise to Imran. Imran says that he has been looking out for Ollie for a very long time, and doesn't feel like he can give up on him now. Leela is shocked when Sid informs her of Jordan's death. Charlie confesses to P.C. Kiss. He arrests Charlie on suspicion of Jordan's murder. Darren enters the kitchen of The Hutch and bursts into tears.
John Paul tries to apologise to George, but he is cold towards him. After hanging up, George plants his warrant card next to Jordan's body. Sid thinks he is to blame for Jordan's death, and he should have been killed. Leela assures him that that is not the case. John Paul arrives at The Hutch and encounters an officer who is vague about what has happened. He is horrified to find George's warrant card next to the body bag. George watches from the The Archway as John Paul bursts into tears. Misbah and Yazz are entertained by Tom's dancing, and are even more so when Sami arrives with glasses and a fake mustache. Juliet is going to confess to the police and use the drugs with her as evidence. Juliet is heartened when James calls her his sister.
John Paul is relieved to see George. He is confused when George is still cold towards him. Peri is upset to learn that Juliet is going to confess. She promises to wait for her if she gets sent down. After Darren leaves, Nancy sits on the stairs. Yazz, wearing Sami's fake mustache, chases Tom. Cindy and Luke research addiction. Sid looks at photographs of himself and Jordan. Juliet takes her bag of drugs and leaves. Ella is worried about Charlie. She has a flashback: she was the one who fatally stabbed Jordan. Charlie quickly covers up the scene. The words of Nancy's 2020 speech plays as the lights go out...Cast
