Synopsis
It's New Year's Eve and excitement grows ahead of Yazz and Tom's wedding. Meanwhile, Victor summons his drug runners, Juliet, Charlie and Ella, but John Paul spots Charlie dealing to Ollie.Plot
Nancy watches as the police search her house. Tom comforts a worried Romeo. Ollie sits on the floor of a bathroom stall with a bag of ketamine. Marnie hugs Misbah. Leela finds Sid's smashed guitar. Juliet and Peri hold each other. Mandy finds the drugs in Ella's bag. Darren stands in the kitchen of The Hutch. The body bag is zipped up and John Paul bursts into tears. Cindy opens a bottle of champagne and takes a selfie, which she posts into the group chat. Sid is nervous about performing at the wedding. They are startled when Victor approaches. He tells Juliet that rivals plan to deal on their "turf", and demands that she performs exceptionally well. Cindy shows Luke the crystal lamp she has bought as a wedding/Tom's birthday gift. Luke worries about Ollie. Imran is nervous when Brooke reminds him about telling Ollie about going to the wedding together. He ends up blurting it out during a conversation with Ollie.
Cher brags to Romeo that she is going on a date with a guy she went to school with. He continues to refuse to believe her over Juliet so Cher refuses his request of at least being friends. John Paul tries to apologise to Nancy, but she reaffirms that she never wants to see him again. Charlie receives a text from Victor. He pretends to be ill so he can run off. Romeo is talking to Juliet when Victor approaches. Romeo then realises that Cher was telling the truth. Romeo is furious and Juliet explodes at him. Jordan ignores the text from Victor. He wants to accompany Peri to the wedding. Peri and Jordan are shocked when Leela returns home suddenly. Marnie is touched when Misbah says that the wedding is about close friends and family coming together, which Marnie is part of. Leela is furious over Jordan and Peri. Peri reveals to Leela that she has been with Jordan the whole time. Leela, in retaliation, reveals that they have been having an affair. Victor assigns jobs to his dealers. The Maaliks are stunned and Misbah is overjoyed when Yazz shows off her wedding dress. Imran worries as he has told Ollie about him and Brooke.
Ollie sneaks into 65 Christleton Terrace and finds the crystal lamp. He sneaks out with it, leaving the back door open. Peri is furious with Jordan. Jordan says that he fell in love with Peri, causing her to storm off. Juliet vents to Sid about Victor making Ella smuggle drugs inside of her. She is scared that something will go wrong and Ella will overdose and die. Juliet plans to record Victor and go to the police. Tom tries to comfort an upset Romeo. John Paul tries to apologise to Charlie. As he leaves, he turns around and spots Ollie holding drugs whilst Charlie has a wad of cash. Juliet secretly records as she apologises to Victor and wants to prove that she should be higher up again. He realises what she is trying to do and demands to see her phone. She lies that she does not have it, so he punches her to the floor and her phone falls out of her pocket. Victor tells Juliet that she warned him, so someone she loves won't live to see midnight.Cast
