Synopsis
Cleo takes control of a difficult situation. Courtney hopes that Sid's friends can lift his mood. Mercedes's day ends in tragedy when the blackmailer makes their identity known to her over the phone.Plot
Juliet calls for help. Joel, Theresa and Cleo are unsure what to say to Goldie. Cher tries to leave Silas, but ends up falling over. Theresa uses the scam as a cover-up and a disgusted Cleo goes along with it. Cher admits to Silas she killed her sister and thinks Silas is a nice man for finding her. Silas takes her back to the pub and pictures her laying on the sofa. Peri shows up at 65 Christleton Terrace and insists Juliet calls an ambulance as she tends to Ollie, giving him some of Cindy's bipolar medication to stop him from having a seizure.
Mercedes is sent a picture of Cher laying on the sofa and panics. Joel begs Cleo not to tell Goldie anything. Mercedes returns to the pub and is relieved to find Cher. She hears a noise in the flat and thinks it's the blackmailer so goes to attack them, but it's only Sally. Courtney invites Imran and Brooke over to help cheer Sid up. Mercedes heads up the City Wall stairs in the hopes of finding out who the blackmailer is. Silas phones Mercedes whilst at the top of the stairs and she falls down them in a state of shock. Sylver finds her and she's taken to hospital. Juliet opens up to Peri about her fears of being stuck in the drug ring and then covers for her when Misbah has words with Peri about administering medication unsupervised.
Sid has an enjoyable time with Imran and Brooke. Cleo makes Joel texts Theresa that the kiss was a mistake and he regrets it. Juliet meets Victor in the pub car park and tries to get out of dealing, but Victor lays the law down with her and reminds her who is in charge. Cher watches their conversation from afar. The doll shows Sally and John Paul a photo of an intoxicated Cher on the sofa with a message that she'll be killed if anyone goes to the police. Sylver tells a devastated Mercedes that their baby has no heartbeat.Cast
