Synopsis

Warren is suspicious of Sienna and Brody. Maxine encourages Damon to follow his heart. Kurt has a proposition for his oldest friends. Is Cher the next target for the McQueens' blackmailer?

Plot

Smoke pours from the bonnet of a car, which has just struck a man.

Two Days Earlier
Kurt asks Tony if he's ready to change his life. Silas plays a game of chess. Brody thinks that Warren will be coming after him. Kurt tells Tony his business idea, but Tony is not confident. However, he changes his mind after hearing how much Kurt is expecting to make. Warren confronts Brody, having overheard him talking to Sienna. Maxine spots Damon looking at Liberty, and works out that he has feelings for her. Martine has an idea when Scott tells her that Mitchell is missing her. Silas overhears Cher saying that weddings are boring. Tom says "you can tell that she's a McQueen", further taking Silas's interest. Silas picks up Cher's phone, but she returns having forgotten it and almost left without it. Kurt also tries to sell his idea to Darren. However, Darren does not trust Kurt. Kurt tells Verity of his idea, before getting a phone call. He tells the person on the other end that "they are eating it up", and that he will get their money. Brody likes the idea of Liberty and Damon becoming a couple. However, Damon ends up changing his mind about telling Liberty of his feelings for her.

Darren can't forgive Kurt, but Mandy likes the idea of investing into his business. Mandy desperately tries to convince him. Sami is annoyed over Verity friend-zoning him. Yazz's words prompt Sami to talk to Verity. Darren informs Kurt that he and Mandy plan on investing. Kurt looks at his prototype meals - he has placed a sticker over a box of food from a different brand. Liberty finds Damon's signs. He awkwardly makes an excuse. She gets paranoid that she is being watched and runs off.

Martine informs the family that she wants Mitchell and Toby back at the flat. Walter says that he cannot condone Mitchell and Scott "under [his] roof". Martine points out that it is not Walter's roof - she is buying the flat from Simone. If he doesn't share what she wants, he can find somewhere else to live. Silas tells the other blackmailer that "the game has already started" and that the family will fall. Sami practices on asking Verity out. Kurt passes Sami and says that "those flowers are nothing compared to what I just gave Verity". Warren confronts Sienna, he is suspicious that she is going to take the twins from him. She plays his video to him, and deletes it to his surprise. He threatens her, saying that he will make her pay if she crosses him. Looking through her bag, Cher finds a chess piece.
