Synopsis
Tony is dumbfounded when Kurt Benson returns from the dead after twenty-one years. Mercedes is oblivious when the blackmailer tries to move in for the kill, but refrains when he learns of her pregnancy. Yazz presents Tom with a love letter video and proposes to her - and he says yes to everyone's delight.Plot
A man arrives in the village on a motorbike. Tony finds a shirt hanging on the door with a note saying "wear me". The McQueens set up a board of potential suspects as to who their stalker is. Tom prepares to leave for his holiday. Cindy receives a text from Yazz, asking for her to keep Tom out of the village. The man takes off his gloves and enters The Hutch. Tony is confused when the man, still wearing his helmet, refuses to leave when Tony says that they are closed. He is stunned when the man takes off his helmet - it's the supposedly deceased Kurt Benson! Kurt has been sending Tony the messages. Mercedes gets overwhelmed and has to leave. Tony is confused as he remembers the funeral. Kurt reveals that he knew the man who was struck by the jet ski. He lived in the bunk above Kurt in the hostel, and Kurt switched IDs when he went to identify the body. Tony is shocked to learn that Kurt has been watching him.
Darren tries to comfort Tom over Yazz's split, but only makes him even more eager to go to Paris. Kurt is shocked to learn that, after his 'death', Tony ended up having a relationship with his sister and his ex-wife. A man watches Mercedes walk past The Love Boat. He texts "Time's up. She's mine." to an unknown number. The man is Silas Blissett, wearing his black leather gloves. Mercedes is oblivious to his presence. Tony tells Kurt about Grace and Harry. The McQueens panic as they only have a minute left. Mercedes has decided to do nothing. She thinks that they should face the blackmailer head on. She tells Sylver that she has a surprise to make his day.
Tony has called Cindy, Darren and Mandy to The Hutch to reveal that Kurt is alive. Mandy and Cindy are shocked, but Darren is incensed as Ruth struggled to cope with his death. Mercedes tells Sylver that she took a pregnancy test - she reveals to the family that she is pregnant. Darren leads Tom to the bazaar where Yazz is waiting for him. Tom worries to Yazz that he doesn't want to lose her and for them to drift apart. In the cellar, Mercedes calls Myra and is oblivious to Silas approaching. However, he backs away when she says that she is pregnant. Yazz shows Tom her love letter video, as Cindy, Mandy and Darren also watch. Tom gets emotional over the video. Everyone is shocked as Yazz gets on one knee and proposes to Tom. Tom says yes and everyone cheers.Cast
