Synopsis

Felix wants answers after overhearing an argument between Toby and Celeste. Victor's furious with Jordan when he's late for a job. Sami is impressed by Maxine's idea to expand the law firm.

Plot

Celeste confronts Toby. Maxine accidentally shreds a contract that Sami needs. Jordan ignores a call from Victor, in favour of heading upstairs with Leela. Celeste and Toby have a blazing row, which Felix and Grace overhear. They also hear Toby threaten Celeste. Felix demands that Celeste tells him the truth. She says that "he bought this on himself". Leela makes Jordan ignore his phone, but he has to answer. Mitchell poses for a photoshoot for Scott. Martine gives Scott the mail for Mitchell when Mitchell leaves for work. Scott reads a letter and is shocked by its contents. Marnie is horrified by the state of her house. Sami is also frustrated at not having an office. Maxine answers a phone call and tells a client that they are busy today, and books an appointment for Tuesday. Sami is initially confused as they are free, until Maxine explains that they need to look busy. Maxine suggests that they add a photoshoot of the team to the website to look professional.

Felix furiously confronts Toby, who initially believes that she told them the truth about Lisa. However, Felix reveals that he knows that Toby attacked him. Felix reveals to a fuming Martine what he has learned. Scott shows Mercedes his credit card bill - they owe £10,000. Toby and Felix have a blazing row. Felix tells Toby that he had a similar experience in the children's' home. Martine starts to sympathise, but Felix wants a reason as to why he shouldn't phone the police. Marnie thinks that she hears a rat. Jordan panics when he realises that he is late for Victor's job, and is confronted by him in Salon de The de Marnie. Martine explodes at Felix over his reaction to Toby. Felix doesn't think that protecting Toby from himself and everyone else isn't Martine's responsibility, but Martine is desperate for her family to have another chance. Felix tries to kiss Martine, who furiously stops him.

Maxine tells Verity of her photoshoot idea. Verity likes the idea, but doesn't want a disappointed Maxine in the photos. Felix lies to Martine about wanting to break up with Grace. Martine is furious when Felix wants to get rid of Toby. Martine orders him not to go to the police, and tells him to run back to Grace. Victor is furious to realise that the drug runner has been arrested and worries about being caught. Toby apologises to Martine. She says that she wants him to move in with them. She suggests that he moves into Lisa's room. Toby bumps into Celeste and confronts her. Celeste warns Toby not to hurt Martine. Toby says that if Martine "proves herself", then she will have nothing to worry about.

Mistakes

In a continuity error, Felix Westwood's sideburns disappear part way through the episode. During the confrontation with Toby Faroe, Felix is sporting a full beard. However, when he is confronted by Martine, he no longer has sideburns.
