Synopsis
Tony worries that his kids see him as a monster and urges Diane to live the life she deserves without him. Juliet is shocked to discover Jordan is two-timing Peri with Peri's mum, Leela.Plot
Edward asks Diane if she wants him to pass on a message to Tony. Jordan flirts with Leela, but they are interrupted by the arrival of Peri. Sally is amused when John Paul emerges with George putting his shirt on. Diane is rushed off her feet running The Hutch. Edward has cancelled his appointments to help her. Peri is confused to see that Jordan has arrived suddenly, Leela lies that Jordan is there to wish Sid luck on his audition. Tony anxiously waits for Edward and explodes at Warren. He picks a fight with Tony, and Edward steps in when Warren is unable to calm Tony. Edward tells Tony that he has disturbing news for him. Sally wonders why John Paul is keeping George secret from Matthew. He overhears their conversation and confronts John Paul.
Edward shows Tony drawings from the kids - they think he's a monster. Tony is unaware that Edward had asked the children to paint images of scary monsters. Edward wonders if he made a mistake during the operation, he thinks that he's to blame. Tony tells Edward that he plans to leave Diane for definite. Romeo tells Cher that he needs another job, she asks him to show her that he can pull a pint. Nana is smitten to find Romeo behind the bar. Goldie is suspicious of him, and says that, despite Mercedes offering him a trial for a part-time job, nobody is getting a job without her input. Goldie decides to set a challenge for Romeo. Diane thinks that Tony has set up a date for him to reconcile, but Tony reveals that the date is for her and who she deserves - Edward.
Jordan warns Sid that he better not mess up the audition - Jordan has Victor on his back, with trade having been slow because of lockdown. Jordan wants to use Sid's place in the band to have him deal drugs to a wider range of people. Sid auditions for Raff. Julian notices Jordan texting Peri. Romeo takes on Goldie's challenge, and the customers love it. Romeo completes the challenge in the nick of time. Raff is impressed by Sid's performance, he wants them to rehearse with the band. Sid declines the opportunity upon seeing Jordan's reaction, and Jordan is incensed.
Diane explodes at Tony for abandoning them. She is furious that Tony isn't giving her a chance to have a say. Edward tells Diane that Tony is making a sacrifice from a place of love. John Paul prepares to tell Matthew that he and George are starting to get a bit more serious. Goldie offers Romeo the job, to his delight. George enjoys watching Matthew at his football trials, he also likes being around John Paul. Diane makes clear that she wants Tony, but neither Tony or Edward think she is making the right decision. Juliet catches Jordan and Leela kissing from afar.Cast
