Synopsis
A grieving Nancy decides she's not going to Kyle's funeral: can her friends change her mind? Darren confides in Nancy about his attempt to take his life. And Warren opens up about his past.Plot
Warren and Sienna return home with Sebastian. Nancy doesn't want to go to the funeral. Ms. Clement tells Darren that he can't keep cancelling their therapy sessions. Warren refuses to talk about their kiss. Sienna feels that she needs to tell Brody. Jack tries to get Darren to speak to Nancy. Warren doesn't think Sienna needs to tell Brody and tries to convince her to keep quiet. Nancy blames herself for Kyle's death, and thinks that she could have prevented it. Darren blames himself, he thinks he put the idea into Kyle's head. He admits that he considered suicide and Kyle talked him down. Nancy reminds Darren that Kyle had also attempted suicide before. He reveals that Mandy does not know and Nancy thinks she should know.
Sienna prepares to talk to Brody, but is interrupted when Liberty uncovers the family book Brody has gotten for the twins. She backs out of telling him. Mandy, Luke and Cindy want to speak to Nancy. Darren stops Mandy from talking to her, so Luke and Cindy decide to instead. Nancy explodes at Cindy, but still blames herself. She thinks that she is more self-absorbed than Cindy. Warren recalls being in his room in the children's' home for a few weeks with a broken leg, and could smell curries cooking as his room was above the kitchen. Warren speaks highly of Cormac, and recalls another kid making his life a misery for himself and Katy. He recalls confronting the kid and getting pushed down the stairs, which left him bed-bound for a few weeks with a broken leg. He reveals that the kid is Felix, they are all shocked.
Cindy thinks that Mandy can trigger the next stage of grief in Nancy. Mandy winds up Nancy, saying that she thinks Nancy is weak and thought they could have a grown-up conversation. Nancy lets rip at Mandy and explodes at Mandy and Darren. Mandy reminds Nancy that she did not know the affair was happening as they hid it very well - they went out of their way to cover their tracks. She points out that Kyle did the same. Sienna, Liberty, Brody and Warren toast to family. Nancy feels better, she realises that Mandy angered her on purpose. She appreciates their company, and has decided to go to the funeral. Sienna, Brody and Liberty convince Warren to sing karaoke with them. Cindy, Luke, Darren, Mandy and Nancy look at old photos of Kyle. Nancy makes clear to Darren that she meant what she said earlier about telling Mandy.Cast
