Synopsis
Cher confronts Warren, telling him that he is her father. However, Warren discovers that there is a misunderstanding, and Sylver is shocked when Cher tells him that she is his daughter. John Paul takes George to the vow renewal, only for Nana to disapprove of him. Kyle is heartbroken when Darren turns his back on him on the advice of Mandy.Plot
Warren signs for a bouquet of flowers. Mercedes and Goldie are excited for the vow renewal. Warren also receives a sheet of paper, which he throws in the bin as Cher watches. Kyle visits Darren, asking for his help. Jordan is confused when Leela rejects him. Cher confronts Warren, and he is confused when she calls him "dad". Darren asks Kyle to leave, but is shocked to learn what Kyle has done. Kyle begs for Darren to help him win Nancy back. Yazz is suspicious over Peri's boyfriend wanting their relationship secret. Warren thinks Cher is conning Warren. Warren asks when she was born, she says she was born 18th June 2001. She says that she had an argument with her mother, and she revealed who Warren is and what he did. Warren laughs - he was sent to prison in 2000. Cher says that her mum worked in prisons, but Warren says that she didn't work in his, and tells her to get lost.Cher meets Romeo, and is surprised to learn that Juliet is the name of his sister. Romeo jokes that Cher is hardly one to be joking about names. Cher asks where Warren lives, he says that Warren lives at the flat above The Dog in the Pond. She offers to help Romeo with the catering for the party. John Paul tells Cindy about the vow renewal, and George overhears Cindy saying that Sylver is husband "7 or 8". John Paul invites George to the vow renewal, which he accepts. Nana is pleased to finally meet George, but not so much when she learns that George is a police officer. George notices a security tag hanging off Goldie's dress, and John Paul quickly covers for her. Kyle can't believe Darren is rejecting Kyle after he helped Darren when he was at his lowest point. He has always had Darren's back, but now Darren hasn't got his. Mandy walks in part way through their conversation.
Bobby walks Mercedes to Sylver, and they say their vows. With everyone distracted, Cher sneaks upstairs. Sylver and Mercedes exchange rings and kiss. In the flat, Warren catches Cher looking at a wallet. Cher says that she saw Warren sign for the flowers before, using Sylver's name, and shows Warren the credit card she has just found. Cher is shocked to learn that Warren is not Sylver, and demands to know who Sylver is. Darren tells Mandy that Kyle wants his help. Mandy thinks Darren should steer clear of Kyle, she doesn't think Darren can cope with Kyle's issues. Peri is shocked when Jordan says that they should stop seeing each other. He says that Leela has let him move in, and thinks that Leela would throw him out if she knew Jordan was seeing Peri.
Darren tells Kyle that he can't handle Kyle's problems. He says that he can't be friends with Kyle anymore. Kyle asks for Darren not to turn his back on him. Darren says that he has to. Kyle is on his own from now on. Warren lies that he doesn't know who Sylver is. He turns on Cher when she continues to ask questions, refusing to let Cher ruin Sylver's big day. Warren and Sylver dance. Goldie suggests that she and Joel set a date for their wedding. Goldie says that she won't dance with Joel until he sets a date. Cher throws Mercedes out. Cher demands to know who Sylver is. She reveals that she is his daughter. Everyone is shocked. Leela continues to reject Jordan, so Jordan tries to win her back around. Leela eventually gives in, and says that her and Jordan sleeping together will be a secret. Cher says that her mother used to work as a dental nurse in a prison. Mercedes asks Sylver if it's true. Sylver explodes and tells Cher that he is not her father, and tells her to get lost. Cher, disgusted, storms off.
