Synopsis
Tony is glad to be feeling happy again but is concerned about the new pills he's been taking. Meanwhile, Sami wants to join the law firm. And the Deverauxs try to work out who is guilty...Plot
Scott cheers up Mitchell. Martine informs them that Felix was attacked and left for dead. An upset Toby tells Celeste that he's "done something". Sami approaches Verity and James with a proposition for the pair. Toby tells Celeste about the attack. Celeste thinks that Toby has attacked Walter, but is furious to learn that he has attacked Felix. She ends up comforting him. Scott tells Mitchell that Mitchell could have gotten attacked. Mitchell thinks the attack on Felix was deliberate. Mitchell is unsymapthetic and decides to go to work and check what condition Felix is in. Sami wants to be a third partner. James doesn't think so. Verity says that if Sami finds a location, she will consider his offer.Grace informs a supposedly oblivious Celeste that Felix has been attacked. Grace is unable to tell them about his condition or suspects, so Celeste says that they need to go to his beside and wait. Misbah tells Martine that Felix has been sedated but should recover. Misbah reveals that the attack was not a mugging. Mitchell suggests that Felix might have been attacked by Lisa or Celeste, but is most convinced by Toby being the attacker. Martine is quick to defend Toby. Tony feels exhausted and thinks it might be the tablets. Diane reminds Tony that this week is Luke's birthday. Toby and Celeste arrive at the hospital and informs them on Felix's condition. Misbah allows them to be there when Felix wakes up.
Sami proposes the abandoned salon for the new firm location. James is unimpressed but Verity likes the location. Verity approaches Grace and makes an offer on the salon. Grace asks if she sees a "for sale" sign anywhere, Verity says that she sees "outdated magazines, an empty diary, and a façade that's clearly showing it's age - not to mention an attack on your doorstep". Grace is interested in Verity's offer, but Maxine points out that they will need to ask Courtney.
Celeste tells Toby that now they wait until Felix wakes up. Toby walks over to the medical equipment, thinking that killing Felix now would be the better option. Toby begins fiddling with the equipment. Celeste desperately tries to change Toby's mind and they are interrupted by Mitchell. Mitchell makes clear that he suspects Toby and Celeste. Toby is surprised when "golden boy" says that he doesn't think it'd be such a bad thing if Felix died. Mitchell says that he was the "runt of the litter", he wasn't sold because Felix wouldn't get a good price for him - he was worthless to Felix. Toby apologises, and instead calls him "silver lining boy". Toby says that he still had Martine, Mitchell corrects him and says that Martine left to be a flight attendant at the first chance she got. Celeste diffuses the argument, and says that Felix is the root of the cause. Mitchell thinks the attack is karma and hopes that Felix never awakens. D.S. Cohen arrives, wanting to speak to the triplets.
Tony has decided to stop taking is pills, but Diane wants him to see Doctor Shields first. Tony is adamant that the pills are causing his tiredness and throws them in the bin. Celeste wants to see D.S. Cohen next. Celeste tells D.S. Cohen that she has something she needs to tell her, she thinks that "it's the right thing to do", although she'd be "breaking Mitchell's trust". Courtney visits Verity, and agrees to sell on the condition that she keeps Maxine on as an employee and Verity agrees. Martine is suspicious of Felix but convinces her that he didn't. He makes a remark about Mitchell and she storms off. Mitchell comments that the family being at the hospital is like a family reunion. D.S. Cohen says that it's sad that one of them will have to be leaving. She arrests Mtichell for malicious wounding with intent to cause grevious bodily harm. Martine, Toby and Mitchell are shocked. Celeste reveals that she repeated Mitchell's words of Felix's attack being karma and that it'd be best if Felix never wakes.
