Synopsis

Marnie and James demand answers about Juliet, leaving Jordan furious. Things go from bad to worse for Kyle when Nancy discovers what he's been up to. Martine finds Felix hard to resist.

Plot

James tells Juliet that she has a lot of explaining to do. Darren swears Kyle to secrecy. Nancy takes his phone and tells him to talk to her. Felix invites Martine for coffee. James realises that he was correct in thinking that Juliet had been dealing drugs at Gentry Park Academy. Juliet lies that she won the money at the bingo but Marnie doesn't believe her. She decides to go confront Sid. Nancy apologises to Kyle, she wants to know what happened. She has worked out that he was lying. He says that he is totally committed and invites her to lunch for a proper celebration. Walter is shocked to learn that Martine is going to see Felix, and advises her to keep away.

Sid is shocked to see that Marnie and James have discovered the bag of cash as the pair confront Leela. Jordan walks in on their conversation. Juliet notices Sid struggling to come up with an excuse and lies that she stole laptops from Gentry Park and sold them. Jordan tells them that he has a friend who he can give the money to, they will buy new laptops and the whole thing can be forgotten. Marnie is unconvinced at first, but Jordan convinces them to give him the money, and Marnie grounds Juliet until 2021. Darren admits to being unable to book an appointment. Kyle invites Darren and Mandy to his and Nancy's engagement lunch. Felix tries to convince Martine to stay, as she has second thoughts, which he manages to do successfully.

Luke and Cindy discuss what to do on their day off. She informs him that they're babysitting DJ. Ollie shows Imran how he still has the baby scan of Thierry. Jordan confronts Juliet. Jordan says that if Juliet is unable to convince Marnie that she is telling the truth, he will have to deal with her. Nancy isn't pleased to learn that Kyle has made their lunch a double date. He points out that she invited his parents without telling him. Juliet explodes at Marnie. Marnie vows to get to the bottom of Juliet's problem. Darren says that he isn't being fair on Kyle or Mandy, and decides that he needs to tell her the truth. Kyle makes him question if Mandy will understand. Nancy asks why Kyle was with Darren yesterday and what they were talking about at the bar. Kyle says that he's asked Darren to be his best man.

Marnie is furious to find Juliet burning Nathan's shirt. She says that Nathan died because Marnie didn't have the guts to leave Mac. She's leaving, just as Ellie and Alfie did, and she thinks Romeo will too. Juliet says that she hates the family and hates Marnie, and wants her out of her life for good. Marnie is heartbroken and James is incandescent at her outburst. Marnie tells her to go back to the flat, pack all of her things and leave. Juliet storms off and Marnie bursts into tears. Felix tells Martine that it took him years to grow up, even a prison sentence. He says, however, he still feels the same about her. His phone rings and he answers it. Martine overhears Felix saying "we'll be together soon. Love you" to someone on the phone, so she leaves.

Juliet arrives at Sid's house and reveals she has been kicked out. She also tells Jordan. Jordan says that they will talk Leela into letting her stay. Nancy confronts Kyle, having found skunk weed in his coat pocket. He says that he doesn't know how else to deal with his pain. Nancy says that she is putting his drugs down the toilet, and asks him if there's anything else she should know. He says there's not. Darren asks Mandy to sit down. She is slightly scared. He says that he has depression. She comforts him. He says he has felt this way for months. She makes clear that he can talk to her, and realises that he has opened up to Kyle. He says that Kyle has been through things and has been able to be a "real friend" to him. She says that she will stand by him. She promises to help him and thanks him for telling her.
