Synopsis
Diane chooses between Tony and Edward. Peri wants answers from Jordan. Liam tries to keep his enemies at bay.Plot
Diane runs off after Tony asks her if it's true. Darren tries to get Kyle to stand up. Liam threatens James. Diane confirms their affair to Tony. He is furious as he realises that Edward is "Barnaby". He can't believe that Diane slept with his father. Tony tells Edward to leave, and refuses to hear Diane's explanation. Peri confronts Juliet. She decides to confront Jordan. Darren rejects a call from Mandy. Darren realises that Kyle isn't smoking medically. Darren says that he needs to tell Nancy.Liam threatens James with his shooting secret, James threatens to bring Grace down with him. Peri confronts Jordan. Jordan lies that he gave Juliet the watch to give to Sid, and Peri feels guilty. They kiss. Diane explains to Tony how the affair began. Tony says that he would have preferred that the affair was with someone else. He asks who else knows, and Diane says that Sami, Misbah and Leela knew. Tony wishes that he never came home. Juliet gives Sid the watch. Cindy worries to Luke about a rat she spotted.
Tony thinks they're laughing at him. Tony reveals in front of them, Sid and Juliet that Diane slept with Edward. They are all shocked. Marnie is cool towards Edward and barely wants to see him. James is confronted by both Mercedes and Liam. Mercedes ends up winding up Liam. Mercedes inadvertenly gives James an idea. Luke tries to cheer Tony up. Luke tells Tony that Diane was in a terrible state when Tony left, which Edward used to his advantage. Luke reminds Tony about his affair with Sinead. Luke advises Tony to fight back and take control.
James points out that in the phone records, Liam called the police fifteen minutes before the attack, and when D.S. Cohen attempts to dispute this, James accuses her of confirmation bias. Kyle doesn't want to hear Darren tell him that he shouldn't be smoking weed. He says that Darren doesn't understand. Darren thinks Kyle should be honest with Nancy, but Kyle points out that Darren hasn't been honest with Mandy. Edward and Diane arrive at the flat on Tony's request. He gives Edward and Diane their cases. He says that Edward is leaving, but Diane has a choice - Edward or Tony.
Sid and Juliet accidentally walk in on Peri and Jordan in minimal clothing on the sofa. Peri asks Juliet for her help doing up her shirt. Juliet is careful, and plays with Peri's hair - it is clear that she has feelings for Peri. Juliet warns Peri to be careful with Jordan. Darren promises to keep Kyle's secret. Mandy forgives Darren upon discovering why he didn't meet up with her. Tony throws out the last of Edward's belongings. Edward says that he hopes Tony can forgive him, to which Tony just immediately slams the door in his face. In the bedroom, Tony turns around - Diane has chosen him.
James visits Warren in his cell and gives him the good news. Liam throws a dart at the photo of Mercedes, shoves one into the photo of James, the photo of Warren, and the other two in the photos of Maxine and Sylver. He asks "who's ready for the final act?", and laughs. Warren promises to be on his best behaviour - just as soon as he has dealt with Liam.
