Synopsis
Ollie is by Brooke's side as she gives birth to their son. Kyle wants him and Nancy to think about having a baby again. Marnie tries to steal customers from The Cunningham Grande Bazaar.Plot
Brooke and Nancy secretly panic as Brooke has been having contractions all night. Ollie is excited for the new arrival. Nancy tries to comfort Brooke, having her sit on an exercise ball. Jack thinks that Brooke should go to the hospital, but Nancy tells her that the contractions aren't 5 minutes apart yet. Ollie is disappointed when Luke tells him that he's not coming to the hospital. Brooke tells Nancy about Ollie wanting to raise the baby with Luke. Ollie reveals that Luke agreed to help him raise the baby, but is left furious whilst Cindy is shocked to learn that Luke never told Cindy. Brooke has a contraction before five minutes, so Nancy tells Jack to call Ollie. Luke tries to apologise to Ollie but Ollie tells Luke to forget coming. Cindy tells Luke that he can't help raise a child; Ollie doesn't know about his illness. Luke visits Darren, who convinces him to go to the appointment. Brooke worries when she sees that the hospital is busy, and that she might get turned away. A nurse informs Brooke that her midwife, Claire, is on leave this week. She goes to find another midwife. Luke is examined by Doctor Parker. He thinks that Luke's mood is caused by stress and not FTD, but wants to run a few more tests. He tells Luke to look forward to becoming a grandad. A midwife, Aoife, informs Brooke that she has familiarised herself with Brooke's birthing plan. Ollie arrives at the hospital with earplugs for him and Brooke. Nancy is impressed when Ollie acknowledges that Brooke isn't sick, but doing something natural. Kyle and Nancy give them space. He tells Brooke that he made a playlist of all the acts from the festival, which used all of his data. Doctor Parker informs Luke that he has had no progression. Doctor Parker informs him that when Luke was diagnosed, they tested to see if the condition was genetic. The tests came back - Ollie, DJ and Ollie's baby could also have the disease. Nancy, Ollie and Aoife comfort Brooke. Ollie grabs Brooke's hand and she tells him that she loves him - "a million much". Brooke gives birth to a baby and Brooke and Ollie are overwhelmed. Ollie overhears Darren telling Luke that he's nowhere near the point of dying. Brooke holds the baby and thinks of all the things that the baby will do one day. She tells the baby that she remembers sitting in the "lost property box", but the baby is already someone's missing piece. Nancy tells Brooke how proud she is of her. Brooke says that Nancy is a great mum. The nurse wants to try breastfeeding. Brooke gets annoyed when the nurse talks to Nancy and not her. The nurse apologises and Brooke thanks her. Luke tells Ollie about his illness. He is upset to learn that it is terminal and Luke has at least five years. Luke congratulates Ollie. Ollie worries that the condition is hereditary, but Luke refuses to tell him that it is. Darren breaks the news that Luke can't help him raise the baby. Nancy admits to Kyle that she can't help but think of the miscarriage. She tells Mercedes that she's been up for 33 hours. Mercedes gives Nancy a present for Brooke. Kyle admits that he wants to try again but Nancy doesn't want to talk right now. Ollie tells Brooke about Luke's illness. She tells him that they'll research the condition and become experts. Ollie reveals that he's not keeping the baby - he can't. Luke and Darren worry about Ollie and DJ having a 50% chance of having the condition. If Ollie has the condition, there's a 50% chance the baby will too - if he doesn't, the chance is 25%. He regrets lying to Ollie. Luke feels guilty for what's happened but Darren assures him that he's not to blame. Ollie goes to see the baby, and reveals that the baby has been named Thierry. He apologises for not being able to be there for his first achievements and not going to be there for him. He gifts Thierry some boots. He says that Thierry was made from love.Music
