Synopsis

Mercedes and Goldie are back, but there's an unwelcome visitor waiting for them. Maxine and Minnie are threatened with eviction, until Liam steps up to ‘help'.

Plot

Goldie and Mercedes return from their holiday. Brody wants to talk about their kiss but Liberty refuses to do so at the moment. Maxine receives a visit from her landlady, who informs her that she is evicting Maxine. Mercedes is horrified to find Cassie and Sam in her house and Warren asleep on the couch. She throws a glass of champagne over Warren. Maxine tells Beverly that she hasn't given her enough time but Beverly asks what Maxine would know about the law and tells her that she's out. She is unsympathetic to Maxine's situation, and tells Maxine that she has 24 hours to get her £300 or she'll "bring [her] boys 'round".

Brody refuses to let Liberty pretend that they didn't kiss and tries to make her open up. She says that the kiss was a mistake and she wants to forget it. Mercedes angrily confronts Warren and throws Cassie and Sam out, as well as Warren. Damon agrees to look after Minnie for Maxine. She lies about needing to write a speech for the Munchausen's therapy group, and the childminder has cancelled with Minnie. Cindy hates Tom's idea of making The Cunningham Grande Bazaar an eco market. Tom wants to show Cindy his plan for the layout of the market, but she wants to choose her dress first. Luke asks a downbeat Ollie if he is OK. Ollie snaps at him and storms off. Liberty is stressed over decorating the shop for Easter (which Damon points out is not until April). She is upset when her parcel doesn't contain a giant egg, but thousands of smaller ones. Damon tries to calm her to no avail. He realises that there is more to her problems than the Easter display, and she reveals that she and Brody kissed.

Mercedes is furious to see Warren still in The Dog in the Pond. John Paul informs her that Sienna took the twins. Mercedes is unsympathetic, pointing out that Warren shouldn't have taken them in the first place. She thanks John Paul for giving her a holiday as it has helped tremendously. Mercedes wants to see Bobby and Sylver and John Paul reminds her that Sylver is still with Grace. Goldie is thrilled to see Joel. Mercedes refuses to let Warren stay with her, so Joel tells him to stay with him at 26 Leigh Road, but Warren wants to stay at the flat as he doesn't want to stay in a house full of McQueens. Mercedes tells Warren that he has five seconds to disappear. Warren tells her to make him.

Liberty opens up to Damon. She says that she has a connection to Brody but nothing could happen between them. Damon tries to comfort her. Liberty thinks that Sienna has abandoned the child Liberty had for her now that she has the twins. Damon suggests that she needs to give herself a break, and Liberty decides that she needs to get away from the village. Joel asks Brody if Warren can stay at The Love Boat. Brody tells Joel about the kiss. Damon tells Brody about Liberty's decision to leave. Maxine is informed that she doesn't qualify for a loan. Liberty rejects Brody's call. Maxine asks Liberty if she is OK, to which Liberty gives a vague response. She asks Maxine if she is OK, to which Maxine says that Liberty has enough going on without having to hear about her problems. Maxine tells Liberty to call her if she needs anything. Brody fails to stop the taxi from leaving, only to find Liberty sitting at the bus stop. Brody reveals that he didn't want Liberty to leave and she agrees to hear what he has to stay.

Maxine visits Liam to ask for his help. He asks her which headstone would look better for Jesse's grave. She pleads for a job from him. He gets upset and apologises for blaming her for Jesse's death. He thinks that Jesse would hate him for what he's done. Liam thinks that Maxine should work managing the salon, so it wouldn't be shut down. Maxine is delighted and gratefully accepts. Mercedes and Warren have a loud argument as Mercedes throws a rubbish bag of Warren's belongings over the bar. They end up discussing their affair back in 2007. They soon end up upstairs, undressing and head to the bedroom.

Maxine informs Beverly that she has just gotten her a job. Damon finds Maxine in the salon. Maxine tells Damon that the meeting was cancelled and reveals that Liam has hired her as the manager of the salon. Liam watches Maxine and Minnie celebrate, clearly having not given Maxine the job out of the goodness of his heart. Tom tells Cindy, Luke and Ollie of the layout for the building, and how the building will be run with solar panels and recycled water. Tom snaps at Cindy when she continues to act dispiriting. He tells her that they're giving back to the community and are going to make a business as successful as Mr C. did when he was alive. Cindy apologises as she realises that Mr. C would have done the same things had done, and says that he would be proud of him.

Luke makes Ollie tell him what his problem is. Luke comforts Ollie. He offers to help Ollie, but Ollie thinks that Luke means help raise the baby. Liberty apologises to Brody - she admits that she has feelings for him, but will ignore them. Brody doesn't think that she should feel guilty, it'd be strange if they weren't brought closer together. He felt something too, but now is not the right time to explore it. Sienna isn't returning so Liberty and Brody are the only thing the baby has. Brody vows to be with her every step of the way. They are unaware that Sienna has seen all via the camera hidden in the dollhouse. Sienna vows to make them pay.
