Synopsis

It's Valentine's Day and Ollie is hopeful that he and Brooke can raise their baby together. Liberty prepares for her 12-week scan, but will Brody be by her side?

Plot

Liberty realises that today is her 12-week scan. She tells Brody, when asked, that she hasn't heard anything from Sienna. Joel adds "saint" to a Valentine's Day speed dating poster in The Dog in the Pond. Ollie is delighted when the mailman arrives and gives him a parcel - socks for the baby. Brody regrets his decision to help Warren. Edward is surprised to learn that Tony is doing to see Doctor Shields. Edward reminds Tony that today is Valentine's Day, and tries to talk him out of seeing the psychologist, but his words fail to change Tony's mind. Ollie and Imran tease each other when Ollie makes a joke about Misbah giving Imran a secret admirerer card, and Imran teases him about giving Brooke foot rubs and a milky drink. Ollie reveals his present for Brooke - the socks. Imran advises Ollie not to ask Brooke again. Sylver is oblivious to Liberty's upset. Damon finds her and tries to comfort her when she tells him about the 12 week scan. He offers to go with her instead of Brody, leaving Liberty delighted. Damon calls Brody and tells him of the baby scan through voice message. Edward attempts to apologise to Diane but does a poor job, and she snaps at him. As she tends to a customer, Edward picks up Diane's phone as Tony calls. Edward declines it. Warren makes a joke about Joel falling for the wrong woman, and says that Brody is too when he sees Brody running past. Brody is furious and explodes at him. Joel stops Brody from attacking Warren. Warren tries to comfort Brody. Edward finds Tony waiting for his appointment. He tries one final attempt at changing Tony's mind, but is interrupted as he is paged. Tony changes his mind, but Doctor Shields catches him in the nick of time. Brody admits to Warren that he doesn't think that he'll be able to be a good single dad. Warren tells him that his poor upbringing has made him a better dad to the twins and now he's trying with Joel. Brody hears Damon's voicemail and rushes to the hospital. Tony opens up to Doctor Shields. Tony tells her of Edward's advice, to which she tells him that his advice is more destructive. Brody arrives in the nick of time. He assures Liberty that he wants to be a father, with or without Sienna. They are both relieved when the sonographer finds a heartbeat. Brooke gives Ollie a card for Valentine's Day. They both realise how long it has been since they have been on a date. Brooke is uncomfortable when Ollie starts talking about the baby. The speed dating event at The Dog in the Pond gets underway. Tom bores Lisa by talking about his businesses. Peri mistakes Romeo's compliment for an insult. Warren decides to do things his way at the speed dating event. Two girls, Cassie and Sam, catch Warren's eye. Ollie goes against Imran's advise and presents Brooke with socks for the baby. He tells her about seeing the email and she reveals that she didn't change her mind - she is only responsible for the baby until the parents arrive. She wants the baby to know that she does care - it was a parting gift. Ollie is left upset. Tom ends up being matched with Peri, who is harsh towards him. Lisa reveals to Romeo that she came for the free drink and to help Joel with the amount of attendees. Joel reveals to Cassie and Sam that he is engaged so they flirt with Warren. Warren grabs a bottle of champagne and takes Cassie and Sam upstairs. Edward is not pleased to learn that Tony has met with and made regular appointments to visit Doctor Shields. Tony reveals that he has been prescribed medication. Diane is impressed when Tony reveals that he has booked a table at a fancy restaurant for them. Edward struggles to hide his unamusement. Liberty and Brody end up kissing but Liberty races off afterwards.
