Synopsis
Cindy helps Luke. Ollie reveals a big secret to his father. Charlie tells Tom what he heard in the tunnels. Breda admits to Goldie it was her who killed Harry, but then lies and manipulates Goldie to get out of going to jail.Plot
Breda asks Goldie that they go home. Brody finds a drunken Luke on the Love Boat. Tom's taken aback to learn £30,000 has left his account. Charlie tells him that Cindy bribed Woody to build without council permission. Tom's convinced Woody's pulled the wool over Cindy's eyes and plans to confront him. Brody interrupts Cindy's celebrations to inform her about Luke.
Breda opens up to Goldie and admits she killed Harry, but then lies and blames the dementia, claiming it was because she saw Harry as her father. Darren and Mandy decorate the pub for DJ's christening. Cindy finds Luke at the Folly and insists on sorting him out. Goldie's tearful as she listens to Breda elaborate on her lie about why she killed Harry. She gives Goldie permission to hand her into the police if she wishes. Cindy strips Luke down in the shower and he cries as he insists he's worthless. Woody visits Tom, who tries to fire him for disregarding regulations, until Woody points out the employment law and threatens legal action. He's allowed to continue as planned with the construction next week.
Breda manipulates Goldie as she convinces her that she can feel she's dying. Goldie can't face sending her own mother to jail. Cindy admits to Luke she needs him more than he'll ever know. Ollie walks in on them as they're talking and discovers Luke fell off the wagon. Goldie isn't sure how she'll live with herself knowing who killed Harry and not telling Diane. Breda tells Goldie she'll only hurt Diane more if she finds out. Breda insists on going back to the pig farm once more to face her demons and close the place for good. Luke prepares to leave the village, feeling he has nothing left. He's stopped by Ollie, who confesses to Luke that he's DJ's father.Cast
