Synopsis
Mercedes has some explaining to do. Mitchell's forced to make a choice. Charlie's unimpressed when he catches Leah talking to Lucas about him. Jesse hands Liam Iona's adoption papers.Plot
Joel confronts Mercedes. Mitchell and Scott wake in the caravan together. Jesse hands Liam the adoption papers. Joel plays the recording to Mercedes. Mercedes swears innocence. Scott's hurt when Mitchell wants to keep him as their secret. He makes Mitchell decide who he wants to be with. Courtney and Jesse set January 2020 as the month they'll marry in. Mercedes explains to Joel exactly what happened on the night of Grace's hit-and-run. Goldie walks in on Mercedes begging Joel to keep her secret and wants answers.
James has no luck contacting Romeo. Peri finds Romeo squatting at 67 Christleton Terrace. Romeo tells Peri that his father hit him but rejects her help. Charlie discovers the school is a perfect place to rehouse the endangered bird. Mercedes tells Goldie that the secret is that she and Sylver are struggling to conceive. Once Joel and Mercedes are alone again, Joel vows to take the phone to the police station tomorrow. Mitchell promises things will be better when Cleo observes that Mitchell's been distant with her for the last few weeks. Grace tries to help Liam understand that he doesn't have to let Jesse adopt Iona.
Scott's spurred on when James tells him that if he loves someone he should abandon his ego and pride and be with them. Mercedes turns to Liam for help. Scott dresses back up as Anita. Walter returns home. Mitchell makes an excuse to get away after receiving a text from Anita. Cindy demands an update from Leah on the bird. Hiding in the bushes, Charlie hears Leah slagging him off to Lucas and is spiteful to her. Mitchell meets Anita in the Dog car park. They get intimate. Liam signs the adoption papers and then meets Mercedes. He promises to keep her out of prison, adding that they will be leaving tomorrow and never coming back.Cast
