Synopsis

Ste desperately attempts to get away from Jonny and Stuart's far right group. Maxine uses make-up to make herself appear ill. Juliet and Marnie search through Adonis for a match for James.

Plot

Ste, Jonny and Stuart find "TERRORISTS" spray-painted outside The Teahouse. Maxine reads some of the mean comments about Damon on the fundraising page. Yasmine is upset about not being able to hear Misbah and Mitchell. Stuart warns Ste of the consequences if he tries to leave the group again. Leah tells Leela that she has been messaged by her friends about Ste and doesn't want to go into school. Leela talks her into going. Peri is furious when a newspaper phones her to ask for information about Ste and pulls the cord out.

Yasmine shouts at Misbah and Mitchell that she is deaf not invisible. Misbah informs her that she needs more hearing tests. Juliet discovers that Marnie has set up a dating profile for James. Juliet wants to help her. Ste meets with Jed in a church carpark. Peri visits Yasmine in hospital and brings her in Peri Peri Chicken and olives. Peri apologises to Yasmine and Yasmine, although unable to hear her, says that it's not her fault. James advises Damon to plead not guilty at the plea hearing. Jed reminds Ste that he's not innocent. Ste asks Jed for help. Maxine shows Sienna how she's going to look at Damon's trial to help get him off the hook. Jed introduces Ste to Officer Turley, who tells Ste that he needs to carry on as normal for the short term. Leela assures Misbah that she's there for her if she needs it.

Mitchell talks to Misbah and makes her optimistic for the future. The audiologist goes to speak to Mitchell and not Misbah. Ste packs his things and lies that he's visiting Leela. Jonny and Stuart realise he's lying and when his phone rings, Jonny takes it and realises that it's Jed. Marnie is thrilled when Juliet finds James a match. James gives Damon and Maxine his bill, which is at the lowest price he can charge. Mitchell informs Yasmine via text that she has perforated eardrums, and they don't know if it's temporary or permanent. Ste is forced by Stuart and Jonny, after being delivered a beating, to tell Jed that he wants to stay with the group.
