Synopsis
There's heartbreak in store for the Lovedays as the body is identified as Louis. Joel comes round before Breda can do anything. Damon wants Maxine to have a living funeral.Plot
Breda prepares to move Joel's body. She receives a phone call from Goldie, informing her that Jack has found a body in the river. Breda is horrified when Joel regains consciousness. Sylver tries to convince Bobby to tell him what's wrong. Bobby lies that he was sick. Breda tries to apologise to Joel. She offers her blessing for their relationship in exchange for his silence. Joel tells her that he's not making any promises. The police and forensics work on gathering evidence. Damon comforts Maxine. Maxine asks for him not to tell Brody so she can tell Sienna first.
Courtney tells the Deveraux family that a body has been found in the river. Mercedes misses a call from Sylver due to being distracted by Liam. D.S. Gray informs Lisa that the body's DNA has revealed the body to be Louis. Damon breaks down. Lisa is heartbroken at the news. Leela asks Breda if she was the last person to see Louis alive. D.S. Gray stops Breda from leaving as she wants to ask her some questions. Liam informs Mercedes that Jesse has told him that there's a body that has been found outside the pub. Breda tells D.S. Gray that Louis cheated on Leela with both Martine and Simone. Joel tells Goldie that Breda learned the truth and Goldie worries that Breda will disown her. Joel tells Goldie that Breda gave them her blessing as he managed to talk her round.
Leela is furious to learn that she is a suspect. Leela and Martine try to make their innocence clear. Leela tells D.S. Gray that a few months after Louis sent her a text message, she received a letter from him begging for a second chance, but she threw it away. Leela tells D.S. Gray that the police should be considering that the same person who killed Carl, Russ and Glenn also killed Louis. Damon attempts to talk to Lisa. Mercedes and Sylver are confused when Bobby snaps at her. Maxine is horrified to discover that Louis has been found dead. Damon tells Maxine of his plan for a living funeral, which she loves. D.S. Gray tells Lisa that they think Louis is a victim of the serial killer. She also reveals that she has found evidence that could lead them directly to the killer.Cast
