Synopsis[]
Mercedes has to cover her tracks when she is questioned by Breda. Jack and Breda's wedding day doesn't go to plan. Bobby makes a shocking discovery.
Plot[]
In the confessional, Breda worries about being unable to "sort out" the sinners and make time for a husband. Jack purchases a bouquet of flowers. Mercedes throws the leopard print underwear in the bin. Joel worries that Breda has discovered his relationship with Goldie. He asks if she is having doubts about marrying Jack. She says she definitely doesn't. Liam asks Grace if she told Sylver about him and Mercedes, which she reveals she hadn't. Sylver works out that Jack has planned a surprise wedding.
Mercedes and Liam are almost caught by Breda. Breda steals a fork hoe from a nearby garden. Joel tells Goldie that he thinks Breda knows about their relationship. Breda traps Mercedes in her van. Jack tells Darren and Mandy that he planned a surprise wedding in The Hutch. Darren discovers that Jack has disguised a cheaper bottle of champagne as a more expensive one by placing a different label on it. Breda confronts Mercedes over her affair. Mercedes tells Breda that Goldie and Joel have been having an affair. Mercedes demands that Breda lets her go and Breda does. Joel asks Goldie to go upstairs with him but they are interrupted by Breda. Goldie and Joel sneak out the back door. Breda searches Goldie's room. She calls Goldie and asks her to come home but Goldie says that she's busy.
Mercedes tells Liam about what Breda said. Breda calls Sylver and walks in on Goldie and Joel in 1 Stockton Lane. Goldie is furious to learn that Mercedes dobbed her in. Breda tells Joel that she's going to make sure Joel burns in the depths of hell for his affair. Jack is upset when Breda cancels the lunch and Jack reveals that Sylver, Bobby, Mandy and Darren know about the wedding. Jack is upset when Breda snaps at him. Darren is furious to learn that Breda has called the wedding off. Darren asks Breda if she even cares about Jack and that he hopes that Jack leaves her this time. Bobby finds Mercedes and Liam kissing in The Dog in the Pond carpark, and Liam notices him. Joel confesses to his sins in the confessional.
