Synopsis
Liam's determined to ruin Mercedes's dream wedding. Romeo's kept in a police cell as all the evidence leads D.S. Yates to believe he's the murderer. Juliet struggles without Romeo.Plot
Cleo, Myra and Nana dance together. Mercedes sits in the confessional and asks for forgiveness. Joel sits on the other side. Romeo's in a cell. The skin on Myra's shins are torn by knock-off wax strips. James questions Romeo's innocence. Mercedes explains to Joel that she's confessing because she wants a clean slate when she marries Sylver and then returns to the village, where she overhears Cindy and Nancy gossiping about her. She puts them in their places. Liam then demands to see Mercedes at his flat.
James and Marnie visit Mac's body in the mortuary. Nana gives Myra Queenie's necklace for the wedding. Liam wants one last job from Mercedes. Laurie catches Juliet graffitiing "Free Romeo Quinn" on the school exterior. Mercedes has to clean Liam's shoes. Liam then demands she acts as a foot stall. Joel walks in on the pair and asks Liam to give up his obsession over Mercedes. Myra and Sally share a moment as they get ready for the wedding.
Breda walks in on Mercedes and Sylver considering inviting Harriet to the wedding and is hurt to hear Mercedes call Harriet his "real mum". Sylver's upset with Mercedes and goes to check on Breda. James represents Romeo as he's interviewed by D.S. Yates and realises he was poisoned by the same substance that Mac was. He proposes that Mac committed suicide but D.S. Yates isn't convinced and keeps Romeo in. Sylver consoles and cheers up Breda. Mercedes gets suited up. Juliet barricades herself inside Nancy's classroom and threatens to burn the school down. Liam tells Mercedes that she is to jilt Sylver at the altar if she wants to keep him out of prison.Cast
