Synopsis
As James's life hangs in the balance, Breda pays Mac a deadly visit. Walter's less than pleased to find Cleo and Mitchell alone together. Mercedes tires of Myra's persistence on having an extravagant wedding, and later ends up calling the double wedding off.Plot
Harry and Marnie find James on the bench. Harry calls for an ambulance. Mitchell frantically cleans the flat before letting Cleo in. Mercedes wants Myra to realise that she doesn't need a huge, fancy wedding to prove her love to Sally. James is admitted to hospital. Mac asks Breda for an hour to collect the physical evidence he has against her. Mitchell and Cleo almost share a kiss, but they are interrupted by a disapproving Walter.
Myra orders a cardboard cake that she can jump out of at the wedding, but when it arrives, it's actually sponge. Breda shows up at Mac's with a lasagne. Cleo's leaves the flat after being made uncomfortable by Walter's presence. Breda's lasagne poisons Mac. Breda reveals to Mac that he was always her intended victim and that James will not die. Mac prevents Breda from leaving and grabs hold of her leg as she tries running upstairs, so she hits him over the head with the lasagne dish and leaves him to die.
James comes round in the hospital and tells Harry that he loves him. With everyone thinking that James was poisoned by Mac and Marnie wanting Mac dead, Romeo heads to face the man himself. Mitchell stands up to Walter and decides he will ask Cleo out on a date. Mercedes calls the double wedding off after feeling insulted by Myra. Yasmine watches over the fence as Romeo kicks the door to 65 Christleton Terrace in. Once inside, Romeo finds a lifeless Mac led on the stairs. He gets blood on his fingers and then rubs it into his jumper before fleeing the scene.Cast
