Synopsis

Alfie and Yasmine are accepted for their apprenticeships, but Alfie's faced with an impossible decision given that his is in Washington, D.C. Breda deliberately leaves Daniel with Lisa so that she has to bond with him. Terry's furious with Ste when the police are called whilst he's stealing TVs from the Bean. Diane's sickened to catch Lily kissing Romeo.

Plot

Lily can't concentrate with Diane hoovering and texts Romeo, asking to meet him at the Hutch. Alfie and Yasmine are accepted on their apprenticeships, but Alfie feels he cannot go to Washington, D.C. with Cindy still in hospital. Romeo agrees to help Lily with her essay. Scott has the TVs stored at the Bean for the launch tomorrow. Alfie and Yasmine decide to visit Cindy. Breda deliberately leaves Daniel at Price Slice so that Lisa can bond with him.

Romeo admits to Lily that his world stopped when she fell in the water during the storm. Terry's vile towards Lucas. Ste wants him gone, but Terry will only go if he can steal all the TVs from the Bean. Yasmine blurts to Cindy that Alfie's bagged a work placement abroad. Ste takes the chip from the CCTV recorder. Cindy encourages Alfie to take the placement. Lisa bonds with Daniel, but is furious with Breda for leaving Daniel behind. Scott asks Jonny for a pay rise. Ste phones the police on Terry. Breda feels she's being watched. The police arrive at the Bean. Terry hides.

Alfie wants Yasmine to come with him to Washington, D.C.. Lily and Romeo get along well. They kiss but are unaware they've been caught out by Diane. A furious Terry returns and intimidates Ste, who wets himself. Diane confronts Lily when she returns. She's distraught to have caught her niece kissing Romeo and brands her a cheap, vain tart in front of a shocked Sinead. Lily shuts herself in the bathroom and ends up breaking a ceramic upon throwing her book in anger. She eyes up a shard and self-harms.
