Synopsis

Breda hopes that both Louis and Leela will see sense about each other. Goldie finds herself falling for Joel. Grace and Lisa are sent on a goose chase. Sylver confronts Liam after finding cocaine down the back of Mercedes's sofa at the pub.

Plot

Mercedes awaken at 10.50am and panics for the boys. Lisa informs Liam of her attack. Breda finds Louis's letter to Leela in the bin. Bobby and Max open the door to Mercedes. She asks the boys not to tell Myra about her party. Lisa hands Liam a threatening note she found in the Loft from Michael. Grace thinks Jamie Johnson is behind it. Father Paul hasn't shown up at the soup kitchen. Breda persuades Leela to read Louis's letter. Tony needs his chair made up by Sylver by 5pm. Sylver finds a rough Mercedes in the village and takes her back to the pub.

Joel checks in on Lisa. Grace finds a letter pinned outside the Loft. It's from Michael again, this time demanding a meet-up at a social club to have things out face-to-face. Lisa thinks she and Grace should go to the social instead and not tell Liam. Sylver nurses Mercedes, thinking she's come down with Nana's bug. He asks Mercedes about Liam but she reassures him Nana's hospitalisation has put her back on the right path. Having read Louis's note at last, Leela is now angrier with him. Sylver finds a bag of cocaine down the back of the sofa at the pub. Goldie finds herself falling for Joel as she vows to continue working at the soup kitchen.

Grace and Lisa wait at the social club but Michael doesn't show up. Sylver confronts Mercedes over the cocaine once they're alone. She claims it's Liam's. Sylver heads to confront him. Breda laces Louis's coffee with a sedative when he turns his back on Leela and now plans to make amends with Simone. Grace and Lisa return to the Loft where they find the office has been broken into and another note left from Michael. Joel has money hidden in his bag. Sylver pins Liam to the wall and blames him for bringing drugs into the pub, but Liam corrects him, stating it was Mercedes who asked him to supply her with the cocaine.
