Synopsis
Plot
Lewis and Finn are having a sale in The Dog in the Pond car park so they head over to the van. However, they find that it has been broken into and that all their stock has been stolen. Later, Cindy overhears them talking about the incident in Drive 'n' Buy, and mentions that she saw Sol get out of the van that morning. She insists that he had nothing to do with the break-in, but Lewis and Finn are sure that he must be the culprit. When they spot Sol going into Deva, they lie in wait for him to leave, and then pounce. Cindy runs over and shouts at Lewis and Finn to leave him alone, and Sol takes the diversion as an opportunity to escape.
Mandy lets Max borrow her car while she's on an assignment, so he calls Chloe to come with him for a drive. When he pulls into a layby for a kiss, Chloe pushes him away and points out that he's being ignoring her at school in front of his mates. On the way back, though, he manages to convince her that he really does like her for who she is – and that he thinks that she's a babe. Chloe accepts this and agrees that they should be an item.
The students discuss going dry-slope skiing as a warm-up for their trip. It's obvious that Matt has never skied before, and so they all make fun of him. Keen to impress, Matt buys a pair of wooden skis from Finn and Lewis' stall at the market. However, later at the ski slope Alex remarks that Matt is the worst skier that he has ever seen. Rising to the challenge, Matt skis down the long run, but as he tries to slide to a stop at the bottom, his old wooden skis catch on the matting and he goes down. The others hear a snap - Matt is in agony and his dreams of going on holiday disintegrate.Cast
