Synopsis
Plot
Ruth is packing to go to America. Lewis thinks that she should have discussed it with him first, since he could go with her – but she reminds him that she is not going for a holiday. Ruth accuses Lewis of being a control freak and says that she is doing it for both their futures. However, when she leaves him at the airport things are still very fraught between them.
Geri, Alex and Sam discuss tomorrow's Halls inspection. Geri nominates Alex and Sam to clean, pointing out that Alex should get in some chalet maids practice. When Geri accidentally knocks the arm off Nikki's sculpture, she decides to fix it whilst the lads tidy up. Later, she goes to Deva and tells Adam that Matt is still trying to worm his way onto the trip and that he could make things difficult with the inspection if she doesn't invite him. Meanwhile, Sam and Alex decide to get their own back on Geri for her lack of help, and agree that neither of them can back out. When Geri discovers the pile of dirty plates that they have put in her bed she storms into the Common Room and screams that the holiday is off.
Sol realises that in order to make some money he will have to find work for himself, so opts for cleaning car windscreens. He borrows the money from Gina to buy some equipment, and all seems to be going well. Unfortunately, two guys are watching him and eventually accuse him of being on their patch, so they hit him and take his money.Cast
