Synopsis
Trevor is furious when he's landed in more trouble with the police. Lindsey sees an opportunity that's too good to miss. Celine, Kim and Tegan are speechless when the new face of the hospital billboard campaign is revealed.Plot
Kim discovers Esther laying on the floor in The Bean, with the door wide open. Lindsey holds a syringe and blue gloves in her hands, before dumping them into a bin in the hospital. Kim tries her best to save Esther, and she is taken into the hospital by ambulance. Celine is suspicious, and wonders why Esther would go into cardiac arrest. Neeta comforts Mac about Alfie. The police find Trevor's wallet at the scene of the crime, and brings him in for questioning. Grace runs to the hospital to visit Esther. Neeta tells Mac to fight for Alfie, but Mac says that charging over there will make no difference. Neeta gives him an ultimatum, and says that if she does not go over and talk to Alfie, then she will. Esther wakes up, and talks to Kim. Grace tells Esther that it could not have been Trevor who tried to kill her, as he and Grace were sleeping together at the time. Alfie and Cindy watch the stars through a telescope, and spend time talking about the universe. Neeta shows up during their conversation. Grace apologises for sleeping with Trevor, saying that it meant nothing, but Esther asks her to leave. DS. Thorpe tells Trevor that he is free to leave as Grace backed up his story. Lindsey watches Kim and Esther through the door window, and tells Kim that she should have stayed out of this. Kim tells Lindsey that Trevor was with Grace at the time, so it could not have been him. Grace opens the door to Trevor, and reveals that the alibi she gave Trevor was a lie. Grace tries to grab her keys from Trevor, but he kisses her. Alfie tells Neeta that he does not want to see Mac, and says that he does not want to leave his real mum. Lindsey tells Celine that she could be a suspect as she has been stealing hormones from the hospital, and tells Lindsey that she does not have an alibi for when she went home and took a bath. Neeta tries to get Cindy on side to try and get Alfie to talk to Mac. Grace visits Esther again in the hospital to bring her hospital bag, and Esther breaks up with Grace to allow her to be with Trevor. Kim comforts Esther. Grace storms into The Loft and packs a bag for Trevor to come home with her to be a family along with Curtis. Celine and Lindsey are interviewed by DS. Thorpe, to which they give each other an alibi. Grace cooks dinner, but leans in for a kiss with Trevor. The food explodes in the microwave as Grace used tinfoil, and Trevor freaks out due to the PTSD from the night that he was attacked by Ben. Cindy tells Alfie that she might go to visit Jude, and tells Alfie to go back to The Dog with Mac. The nurses stand outside the hospital where an advertisement for hospital recruits is revealed, and Lindsey is the forefront of it. DS. Thorpe sits in a car in the dark with Freddie, asking who it really was who tried to kill him. Lindsey lingers outside of Esther's hospital room, scared in what she should do next. Esther rings the alarm bell in the hospital, and demands to speak to the police as she can remember something.Cast
