Episode 430 is an episode of Hollyoaks which aired on Thursday 16th March 2000.

Synopsis

The Morgans are left confused by Luke's behaviour, and problems arise when Zara is caught shoplifting. Meanwhile, Sam and Anna try to get Dan kicked out of the flat, but to no avail.

Plot

Nikki throws away the articles on Steven Banks. Beth tells Sue that it doesn't look like Luke's bed has been slept in and gets concerned when Mandy tells her that she couldn't get through to him. Finn tells Lewis that his change in behaviour is slightly concerned. Carol is angry to learn Tony has moved out.

Beth and Sue are horrified to find Luke dirty and bloodied. Beth is concerned with how upset Luke is. Anna complains about Dan staying and Nikki complains about Anna's self-obsessiveness behind her back. Mandy visits Luke and confronts him. She thinks he purposefully blew her off.

Zara steals some biscuits from the shop and Gordon catches her red-handed, Zara accidentally admits it's not the first time she's stolen from the shop. Carol tells Finn that she knows he lied to protect her. Andy unknowingly upsets Luke and he storms off. Mandy goes to talk to Luke, having got advice from Lewis and Finn. Beth tells Zara that this incident is going to make Andy and Sue's marital problems worse.

Sam is furious that Nikki and Dan have managed to get Matt on side. Carol's spiritual stall is doing well, and Carol tries to work out what the problem is. Anna gets upset. Mandy tries a more gentle approach with Luke. He refuses to tell her what happened. Anna tells Sam she never wants to see her father again after his affair. Sam tries to convince Anna to comfort her mother. Luke flinches when Mandy touches him and she thinks Luke's gone off her. She storms off.
