Synopsis
It's the day of Freddie's funeral, and there's a surprise visitor in store. Lindsey is furious to see Joe and Mercedes grow closer. Louis fears for his marriage when he receives a card from Joanne. Nancy is overcome with emotion as she decides to tell Darren about her feelings.Plot
Lindsey gets ready for Freddie's funeral. Ste wakes up hungover. Louis panics when he receives a card from Joanne and stops Simone reading it. Lindsey gets jealous seeing Joe and Mercedes together. Louis and Zack are shocked when they find out Simone has received a prison visiting order for Trevor. Nancy is overjoyed to see Charlie talking again and Darren tells her to thank Grace, before getting ready for Freddie's funeral. Joe talks to Lindsey about the funeral. Joe then brings up their kiss, but Lindsey assures him it was a mistake. Tony tries to call Ste. Grace tries to talk to Darren, but he's too focused on the funeral. Lindsey talks a comatose Kim about Joe and that she's gonna win him back. Lindsey bumps into Mercedes at the hospital. Mercedes opens up to her about being nervous about going to the funeral after what happened to Gabriel and that any reminder of him will push her over the edge. Tony visits Ste and is shocked to learn he's being drinking. Zack sees Simone upset and encourages her to do what she can go back to doing law. Lindsey leaves a hospital letter out for Mercedes to find.
On the way to the nativity play, Nancy tries to get Charlie to open up. When Lindsey sees that Charlie's talking again, she subtly threatens him. Zack updates Louis about Simone. Louis sends a text to Simone to meet him at home for lunch, but unknowingly sends it to Joanne after seeing students fighting. Ste overhears Harry on the phone arranging to meet a guy at The Dog in the Pond. The Roscoe's get ready to go to the funeral. Grace offers to support Darren at the funeral, but she clashes with the Roscoe's. Upon hearing that Darren and Grace are together, the Roscoe's ban Darren from the funeral. Mercedes gets ready to leave for the funeral when she finds the letter with Gabriel's post-mortem report. Simone arranges a prison visit to see Trevor. Charlie freezes up at the nativity play, and runs off after having flashbacks of Doctor S'Avage's death. Joe is worried about Mercedes, but Lindsey encourages him to focus on Freddie. Ste gets drunk and ruins Harry's meeting. Louis arrives home for lunch and is shocked to find Joanne waiting for him. Nancy confides in Darren about Charlie, and after Darren compliments her, Nancy reveals to Darren that she loves him, which leaves him shocked. Joe gives his eulogy at Freddie's funeral, when Kim bursts into the church, leaving Lindsey panicked.Cast
