Synopsis
It's Leela's birthday but the celebrations turn sour when she makes it her mission to uncover the truth about Tegan and Ziggy. Louis tries to shake off Joanne, but soon discovers she won't leave without a fight. Nico burns with jealousy at the sight of Jason and Holly.Plot
Ziggy prepares a birthday breakfast for Leela. Leela is suspicious of Ziggy and Tegan. Alfie gets a reminder about his test results. Joanne tries to call Louis, but he ignores her. Simone is shocked by the family's reaction to her pregnancy. Leela thanks Tegan for her present and secretly steals her phone. Jason asks Nico about a secret Santa present for Ben and offers to go shopping with him. As Jason leaves for work, Holly secretly texts Robbie. Leela is shocked by a car with flames on it as a present from Ziggy. Ste sees Leela with Tegan's phone. Mac informs Ellie about Alfie. Joanne visits Louis at the school and tells him she'll be leaving tonight before asking him to go for a coffee. Ellie catches Alfie bunking off school at The Bean, when Tegan arrives and Alfie tells her about his cancer. Robbie meets up with Holly and they sleep together. Tegan offers Alfie some support. Ziggy tries to talk to Tegan about yesterday, but Tegan insists that nothing happened, which Ellie notices. As Leela tells Ste about her suspicions about Ziggy and Tegan, Ste tries to get her to let it go, but Leela insists that she need to know the truth.
Mac and Ellie meet Alfie at the hospital. Ellie gives Tegan advice how to get over Ziggy. Leela fails to find proof on Tegan's phone. Tegan writes out a list of what she hates about Ziggy. Ziggy tells Robbie about his feelings for Tegan. Simone gets upset at work and confides in Lisa about Louis not being supportive about her pregnancy and decides that she's going to have an abortion. Ziggy tells Robbie about how he feels about Tegan, but Robbie tries to make him see that she's just a friend. Louis and Joanne reminisce, but Louis insists he's lucky to have his family, leaving Joanne secretly devastated. Alfie is informed that his cancer's not back. Leela enjoys her birthday at The Dog and allows Celine and Cameron to stay when they arrive with a Christmas present for Peri. Cameron catches Peri about to drink alcohol. Nico enjoys spending time with Jason at The Bean, but gets mad when Holly interrupts them. Holly and Jason leave, but Jason leaves his hoodie behind, which Nico keeps. Peri clashes with Cameron and Celine. Leela gets drunk and makes a public announcement to Ziggy that she wants them to try for a baby. Louis apologises to Simone for freaking out about the pregnancy and that she wants them to have the baby. Joanne makes a call about a flat in Chester. Leela tries to make Ziggy see that a baby could be good for them, but Ziggy gets annoyed, and as the music turns off, he tells her that he's in love with Tegan, which everyone hears.Cast
