Synopsis

Lisa's heart is shattered when she walks in on her crush getting flirty with Theresa. Meanwhile, Maxine is adamant she will stand by Patrick whatever the cost and Nico tries to track Jason's plan.

Plot

Mercedes is still struggling with Gabriel's death but Theresa assures her that everything will be fine because she has her family to support her. While Maxine is with Minnie, Sienna tells Patrick that it's a crazy idea to try to frame Maxine for his murder but Patrick tells her that he won't be made a fool of. Sienna tries to make him see that it's more important for him to be spending the time that he has left with his family instead. Nana, John Paul and Theresa try to comfort Mercedes and Nana tells Mercedes that she needs to tell Joe the truth so he can support her, but Mercedes says that she loves Joe, but believes it's better if he doesn't know that Gabriel was his son. Father Andrew walks in and asks Mercedes what her baby's name is. Lisa talks to Lindsey in Price Slice when she bumps into Jason who questions her about Dylan's suspicious death, but Lindsey insists the hospital doesn't get things wrong, and that the best thing is for Trevor to be sentenced and then they can move on and then leaves. Nico walks in and Jason asks if she's okay after yesterday, and she ensures him that she's fine. Jason then leaves but Nico spots that he's left his wallet behind.

Father Andrew prays with the McQueens for Gabriel but Mercedes can't cope with everything and leaves. Jason looks through the hospital staff lockers and finds the staff rota. Zack and Lisa talk in the shop when Theresa arrives upset about Gabriel and Zack leaves to comfort her, which leaves Lisa heartbroken. Mercedes arrives at the Roscoe's house to clear out the nursery but Jason isn't happy with her for 'lying' to Joe about Gabriel, but when Mercedes tells him that Gabriel died he apologises and offers to call her family to help her but she refuses. Theresa talks to Zack about Mercedes not coping with Gabriel's death. Zack comforts her and they kiss. Maxine leaves to do Christmas shopping but arrives back to hear Sienna and Patrick talking about how Maxine told Darren that she loves him, but Maxine points out that she missed the part where she said that she really cares for Patrick. Patrick sends Sienna to do the shopping while he and Maxine talk. Mercedes bumps into Simone outside Savage's Emporium and tells her about Gabriel. After having sex with Zack, Theresa sends a selfie of herself to him, when Lisa walks in. Maxine and Patrick argue over her conversation with Darren, but Maxine assures Patrick that the important thing is making good memories for Minnie and that she is committed to him and asks him if she believes him.

Simone brings Mercedes into Price Slice where she opens up even more about Gabriel. Kyle winds up Zack, who then tells him about his relationship with Theresa, which annoys Nico who keeps looking at Jason's wallet. Mercedes continues to open up to Simone about Gabriel and Simone comforts her. Kyle teases Lisa about Zack and Lisa takes Zack's phone off him. Lisa is shocked when she sees the photo of Theresa on his phone. Sienna arrives home and Maxine tells her that everything between her and Patrick is fine before putting Minnie down for a nap. Patrick then tells her that he's got rid of the DVD of him saying Maxine was trying to kill him, and that Maxine has shown him that he needs to make use of the time he has left. Theresa talks to Lisa about Zack and apologises to her and tells her about Gabriel's death. After Theresa leaves with Zack, a jealous Lisa posts the selfie of Theresa online. Patrick calls his solicitor and tells him that he's sending him a DVD that is to only be opened in the event of his death, meaning that Patrick lied and he's continuing to frame Maxine for his murder. Mercedes arrives back at the hospital to John Paul and Nana and makes a memory box for Gabriel and cries as she closes the lid down. Jason does so more investigating into the Gloved Hand Killer's murders, when a mystery figure walks up the stairs, who's later revealed to be Nico who came to give Jason his wallet back and he thanks her. Nico sees Jason's research on all of the deaths. Jason tells her to ignore it. Nico realises that Jason thinks they were all murdered, as Lindsey spies through the door looking worried.

Zack apologises to Simone about missing school and that he will apologise to his teachers. Simone hugs him, telling him that she loves him and Zack says he loves her too.
