Synopsis
Nancy agrees to help Darren with his big proposal, but things don't go according to plan. Meanwhile, Patrick goes missing after leaving a note, and everyone fears the worst. Elsewhere, Grace gives Trevor a choice to make, while Dylan receives a shocking threat from 'GothBoy98'.Plot
Porsche feels sick looking at Reenie and Pete looking so loved up, and then receives a note saying "I'm sorry" from Lockie. Ben says goodbye to Sienna and Nico when Sienna and Nico find a weird note from Patrick. Darren drafts out his proposal speech while Maxine also receives a weird note from Patrick. Frankie and Jack sit by Esther's bedside when Grace Black and Trevor Royle arrive. They get into a fight about Dylan and Esther being in a coma, resulting in Frankie telling them that when Esther wakes up 'Stefan' is coming home with them.
Nico tells Sienna about Patrick taking the blame for Carly's murder. Sienna and Nico question Ben about Carly's murder investigation and Ben tells them that they're making progress. Nancy and John Paul talk about John Paul's affair with Lockie. Darren arrives and he tells Nancy about his plans to propose to Maxine and Nancy offers to help him. Lockie, Mercedes and John Paul argue in the street and discuss how they're going to make it up to Porsche. Pete and Reenie comfort Porsche when Lockie arrives begging Porsche to let him explain. Grace and Trevor arrive home to Dylan playing loud music and argue about how Dylan sold Tom drugs and that he's the reason their in this mess and Grace thinks that they should distance themselves from Dylan. Lockie apologises to Porsche for cheating on her with Mercedes and John Paul but Porsche refuses to accept his apology and tells him to leave. Sienna arrives back at the flat and tells Nico that she couldn't find Patrick. Sienna tells Nico to keep quiet about Carly's murder when Maxine arrives and shows them Patrick's note. Patrick is shown sitting on a bench by a beach in the freezing cold.
Sienna, Maxine and Nico are scared that Patrick has committed suicide. Sienna wonders where Patrick would go, and Maxine thinks she knows and rushes off. Lockie sits outside the McQueen's house as Mercedes and John Paul arrive. When they refuse to leave, Reenie threatens them both with a bat and they leave. Lockie pleads with Porsche but Porsche says they're over. Pete tells Lockie to leave and Porsche looks uncomfortable when Pete puts his hands on her shoulders. Frankie is on the phone with Nancy when Jack comes back into the room after talking with the doctor. Jack tells Frankie that if Esther doesn't respond soon they might have to turn off her life support machine, which devastates Frankie. Maxine ignores a call from Darren and then she finds Patrick and stops him freezing to death. Dylan overhears Grace and Trevor talking about him and that it would be best if he went away for a while. Trevor says that if Dylan goes, so does he. Maxine questions Patrick about what he was doing. Patrick talks to Maxine about the memories they had on the beach before he ruined everything and tells her that he's going to confess to killing Carly and die in prison and that he needs her help. Nancy helps Darren prepare to proposing to Maxine and Darren practices his proposal speech on her. Patrick apologises to Maxine for how he treated her and that he's always loved her. Patrick is about to get out of the car but Maxine stops him. Grace and Trevor continue to argue when Dylan tells them that he overheard them and that he's going to go stay with Nico. Maxine points out to Sienna and Nico that the police won't believe that Patrick killed Carly and that they would become suspicious of them. Sienna asks Maxine what do they do now. Lockie calls Diane asking her to go for a drink. Jack and Frankie see Dylan leaving Trevor and Grace's. Trevor tries to stop Dylan from leaving but is unsuccessful and he ignores Grace. Esther starts to wake from her coma. Maxine arrives home to Darren and realises what Darren was planning. Darren isn't happy to learn that Maxine was with Patrick. Darren then tells Maxine to choose between him and Patrick, which leaves Maxine shocked. Dylan receives a test from 'GothBoy98' telling him to make Trevor disappear for good.Cast
