Synopsis

Sienna fights to keep her cool but Nico looks like she might crumble under the pressure. Unsettled after the events of the previous night, Celine looks like she may slip back into her old ways. Elsewhere, Darren becomes increasingly agitated by Patrick and struggles to keep his temper under control.

Plot

D.S. Thorpe arrives at Sienna's flat and herself, Nico, Theresa and Patrick are shocked when he arrests Nico on suspicion of Carly's murder. Jack comforts Ben who's heartbroken over Carly's death as Darren looks on. Celine looks at herself in the mirror to see if she's lost weight and disgusted with herself, smashes the mirror as Pete stands in the doorway watching. Sienna tries to stop Nico being arrested but Patrick tells her not to worry as it will all be a big misunderstanding. Sienna then goes to the station to be Nico's appropriate adult. Ben, Darren, Nancy, Maxine, Jack and Frankie talk about Carly's murder and Ben blames Darren for not picking up Carly to go to the chemist, because he was supporting Maxine. Nancy watches on feeling guilty. Jack tells Ben that Darren wasn't responsible for Carly's death and neither is he, but Ben points out that he's her dad and should've been protecting her. Darren points out that Ashley must've found her somehow, as Nancy looks on not knowing whether to say something. Ben then promises that whoever killed Carly is dead.

Doctor S'Avage gives Trevor an update on Curtis and Theresa informs Celine and him about Nico being arrested for Carly's murder, which worries Doctor S'Avage. Celine looks at the food she's bought when Pete shows up and tells him to stop following her and walks off. Ben plans to call the family about Carly's death. Patrick approaches Ben and informs him about Nico being arrested for killing Carly and heads to the station. Patrick asks Maxine if he could call by later to have Minnie for the night. Darren is against the idea, but Maxine agrees. Maxine has a go at Darren for focusing on his feud with Patrick when Carly has just been murdered and calls him pathetic. D.S. Thorpe questions Nico about Carly's murder, but Sienna insists that Nico doesn't know anything. Ben arrives at the station and asks Jason about Nico and he tells his that D.S. Thorpe is questioning her. Ben wonders how Nico found out where Carly lived, when Jason tells him that Sienna was getting post from his car and that Ben asked her to get it for him, but Ben doesn't know what he's talking about. Nico is further questioned why her phone was at Carly's house when she died but Sienna keeps saying "no comment". Nancy oversees a man handing Trevor an envelope (possibly filled with cash) and rushes off. Sienna tries to stop D.S. Thorpe from questioning Nico when Ben walks in and asks to speak to Sienna on her own. Doctor S'Avage asks Patrick about Nico's arrest and that Sienna isn't answering her phone but he says it's nothing to worry about and closes the door in his face. Ben questions Sienna about Carly's death and why Nico's phone was at his house. Sienna tells him that she didn't know Carly was his daughter and that she thought that he was cheating on her and that she broke into his car to get his address and went to his house for answers, but lies that the front door was open and that as soon as she walked in she left because she knew it was wrong and that Nico must've dropped her phone there. She then says that she didn't tell him because she'd just found out that Carly was his daughter and that she was still taking everything in. Ben points out that Ashley must've followed Sienna to his house and blames her for Carly's death. D.S. Thorpe advises Nico to tell him the truth.

D.S. Thorpe lets Sienna and Nico go after talking to Ben when Nancy arrives and tells him that she thinks Trevor killed Carly and that it was all her fault. Celine and Cameron talk and Cameron asks if she's okay after last night and Celine tells him that she had some family issues to sort but that she's fine now. Cameron and Celine start making out, when Pete walks by, making Celine uncomfortable. Nancy explains that she was with Trevor when she saw Ben and Carly on The Loft's CCTV footage, that Trevor recognised Carly straight away, that Trevor said that he knew someone who was after Carly, and that she saw get handed an envelope most likely filled with cash and that Trevor might've been paid to kill Carly. She apologise and explains that she only watched the CCTV because Sienna accused her of having and affair with Ben and she wanted to prove her wrong. Sienna and Nancy start arguing and Nico rushes off. Sienna gets asked if she saw Trevor at Ben's house and she says "no" and leaves. Pete questions Celine about her and Cameron and asks him to forget what he saw and he agrees. Pete makes Celine uncomfortable by talking about when she was a kid in front of Cameron and how she was fat, and she walks off. Theresa asks Patrick if she should go with him to the governor's meeting tomorrow but Patrick says he'll be fine. Sienna and Nico walk in and Nico wants to go talk to Dylan. Patrick asks if everything went okay and Sienna says yes. When he asks her more questions, Sienna says that Nico has been questioned enough for one day. Patrick tells them to get ready for a family dinner at The Dog. Sienna isn't so sure but Patrick says he's picking Minnie up and to show that they had nothing to do with Carly's murder. Sienna advises Nico that she can't tell anyone the truth but Nico feels guilty because they now think Trevor did it and has to look Ben in the eye everyday knowing what she's done.

Ben watches Trevor at The Loft. Maxine and Darren walk by and ask Ben about the investigation. He tells them Nico had nothing to do with what happened and they are following new leads. Maxine asks him to come back to The Dog as Jack and Frankie are worried about him, and Ben says he'll be there shortly and that there's something he needs to do first. Celine bumps into Doctor S'Avage outside the hospital and drops her bag. She picks it up before he sees the hospital medication in her bag. Doctor S'Avage gets a text from Sienna saying that Nico has been released and he breathes a sigh of relief. Nancy tells Maxine, Darren, Jack and Frankie that she feels guilty over Carly's death. Sienna, Nico, Patrick and Theresa walk into The Dog and Sienna apologise to Jack about Carly's death. Jack is grateful and that he knows Nico is innocent and that they are welcome and Sienna thanks him. Theresa talks to Darren about what she has to do to get Patrick' attention and they realise that Patrick has his eye on Maxine. Ben confronts Trevor about Carly's death. Trevor insists he had nothing to do with happened and that Ben should've taken better care of his daughter, which causes Ben to attack him. Nico sees them fighting through the window and Sienna rushes outside to stop them. Patrick asks Maxine if Minnie is ready to go, but Darren says that Frankie is putting her to bed. Maxine tells him that she'll drop Minnie off in the morning. Patrick agrees and says that he trusts Maxine and Maxine walks off into the back of the pub. Darren then tells Patrick that he can leave and to take his twisted family with him. Patrick points out that Maxine is part of his family too and always will be. Darren realises that Patrick isn't going to stop until he wins Maxine back. Sienna begs Doctor S'Avage to stop Ben and Trevor fighting when Jason and D.S. Thorpe intervene and break them up. Darren gets riled up and calls Patrick a "wife beater with one foot in the grave". Jack tells Darren to stop and Patrick plays nice and tries to call a truce with Darren. D.S. Thorpe arrests Trevor on suspicion of murdering Carly. Sienna realises that Nico has gone missing. Jack advises Darren to call a truce with Patrick, but he then pulls Patrick forward and threateningly tells him that he knows nothing about Maxine anymore but Patrick winds Darren up more, stating that Minnie bonds him and Maxine for life and that there's nothing that Darren can do about it, causing Darren to lose his temper and elbows Patrick, causing him to fall to the floor, which leaves Jack and Theresa shocked. Patrick struggles to get up because of his condition and Theresa rushes to help him. Maxine walks around the back of the pub where she finds Nico crying. Nico tells her that Ben is really upset over Carly. Maxine tells her that even though Carly was a grown woman, she was still Ben's daughter. Nico wishes she'd died instead but Maxine tells her not to say that and asks why she's talking like this. Nico admits that she knows what happened to Carly and that it wasn't Trevor who killed her, but Sienna arrives and takes her home before she can say anything else, leaving Maxine suspicious over what Nico said. Trevor shouts as Jason and D.S. Thorpe force him into a police station holding cell.
