Synopsis
Emily tries to encourage Gina to be more open about her sexuality. Finn desperately tries to move the boat to Hollyoaks, and Carol's whinging is not helping. Sam and Dan continue to fight over Nikki Sullivan who coldly rejects them both. Home alone, Zara and Hannah get up to mischief.Plot
Carol wakes Finn to make her a cup of tea. Finn wakes up and puts his feet in water - the boat has flooded again! The Morgans tease Adam over his new love interest. Sue tells them that William is taking her to the opera so they can meet him tonight. Anna gets angry with Sam and Alex sides with her. Alex thinks that Nikki will come round eventually. Carol wants to leave, but Finn convinces her to stay as he will let her drive the boat. Luke arranges to give Darren a chance on the football team. Gina wants to reconcile with Emily, but Emily is angered by Gina whispering about their relationship. Dan vents to Anna about Nikki. The boat breaks down as Carol and Finn are sailing. Zara threatens another student for £2 to Hannah's shock.
Finn is using Beryl to tow the boat - however Beryl is not strong enough and ends up getting stuck! Carol and Finn bicker over the broken boat. Gina tells Emily that Darren is causing her struggles with her sexuality - she cannot deal with the teasing and also is struggling to deal with her family's reactions. She points out that Emily's parents are being supportive of her sexuality, leading to Emily apologising for her selfishness. They kiss, leading to Darren, Sam and Alex making remarks which anger Anna, who insults them. Finn has managed to fix the engine and he and Carol set sail. Gina is shocked to learn that Emily has also applied for the editor job at The Review, which they argue about.
Darren and Luke prepare to leave so Emily teases him over their kiss. Carol is horrified when she can't find Meryl. At home alone, Zara and Hannah drink cocktails. Carol finds Meryl in the engine and Carol explodes at Finn. Hannah makes a prank call, asking for "Ben Dover". She gives Zara the phone to ask for "Hugh Jarse". Finn starts to get annoyed with Carol. Sam realises that Alex's shoes are making the flat stink. Sue informs the family that she has invited William over for dinner. Zara tells Sue that she isn't a proper mother anymore, she's a "slapper".Music
