Synopsis
Robbie convinces Nancy to lie to the police and say that Joe wanted to kill Rick. Meanwhile, Tegan makes videos for Rose, and one for Dee Dee where she reveals that she is Dee Dee's biological mother.Plot
Crime scene photographers and forensics mark out and photograph the area where Rick was attacked. A man in a hood steals the bag of Rick's contents from Tegan. Sandy blames Freddie for Joe's problems but Robbie snaps at Sandy and brands Joe a murderer. Tegan catches up to the hooded figure and realises it's Trevor. Trevor threatens Tegan before destroying Rick's phone.The Roscoes try to talk Robbie out of telling the police that Joe had it out for Rick. Jason tries to get an answer as to how Rick died. Tegan gives Rick's belongings back. Grace is desperate to get Esther to the meeting and is fuming when her account is empty. Tegan tells Ziggy that she's not responding to her chemotherapy.
Jason and Robbie identify Rick's body. Tegan records videos for Rose in case she dies from cancer before she can see Rose grow up. She breaks down part way through and tells Rose when she gets married to have the ring she always wears, belonging to Tegan's mother Sam. Sandy is told that the police don't have enough evidence to charge Joe with murder. Tegan secretly records a video for Dee Dee, revealing she is Dee Dee's biological mum.
Grace is furious to learn Trevor has actually emptied the account. Esther thinks Trevor might be doing something dodgy. Robbie asks Nancy to lie that Joe wanted to kill Rick. Tegan says she wants to have the best kiss of her life. Ziggy expects her to kiss him but she kisses Esther. Joe is taken back down to the station as a witness has come forward. Tegan puts the DVD for Dee Dee through the Hutchinson family's letterbox.
