Synopsis
The inquest into Rob's death takes place, the verdict angering Lucy but leaving Beth relieved. Cindy plans to move forward with her life. Sam attempts to reconcile with Nikki. Carol thinks that she has won the lottery, but cannot find her ticket.Plot
Nikki prepares to leave the hospital. Lewis prepares to sell Finn's fire-damages belongings. Carol is delighted when she sees the lottery numbers. Sam visits Nikki, but she is not pleased to see him. Tony, Ruth and Lewis talk about the inquest into Rob's death. Carol desperately searches for the lottery ticket. Sam tries to apologise to Nikki and manages to get through to her. Angela collects the last of her belongings and is cold towards Helen. Tony continues to worry about Lucy, but she tries to assure him that she will be fine. Helen offers to look after Holly whilst Cindy works at Drive 'n' Buy, and Cindy is delighted. Beth feels that she owes Rob by attending the inquest, but Lewis thinks that she should start to put things behind her. Beth admits to Adam but she fears that the verdict will be suicide. Adam nearly accidentally tells her about William. Nikki feels guilty about the way Dan left. Lewis, Ruth, Carol, Tony and Lucy attend the inquest. Cindy worries about Angela and Max. The coroner rules that Rob's death was by misadventure. Lucy is furious and shouts at the coroner. Cindy breaks the news that she will be getting Helen to look after Holly. Angela complains about Cindy giving her money to Sean; Cindy points out that Angela did the same with Terry. Beth bursts into tears when Lewis tells her what the verdict was. Adam thanks Lewis for looking after Beth. Sam justifies himself to Nikki, she forgives him. Carol secretly goes through a bag of Meryl's poo, in case she has eaten the lottery ticket.Cast
