Synopsis
Adam struggles as his family falls apart. Emily comes to Gina's defence. Nikki awakens from her coma to find that Dan knows about the affair. Cindy receives a postcard from Sean.Plot
Sue is confused when Adam remains cold towards her. Sam and Dan continue to argue, Anna walks in and reprimands them. Geri asks Christine about Adam. Darren winds up Sol and jokes that Sol will be the next to come out. Gina is furious to find that Darren is running for campaign officer, but is taking the whole thing as a joke. The doctor informs Dan that Nikki is regaining consciousness, she opens her eyes to Dan's voice. Adam gives Christine a Christmas present, she has bought him the same gift! Dan informs Nikki that his release date was brought forward for good behaviour. Nikki is upset as she could have been with Dan at New Year's.
Emily comforts Gina. She is delighted to learn that Gina is running for campaign officer. Anna tries to help Nikki remember what has happened. She informs Nikki that Sam told Dan that she was with Sam on New Year's. Cindy receives a postcard from Sean. Sue tells Andy that she wants a separation, just as Adam walks in. Darren sits with Emily and Gina and jokes about having a threesome, and Emily reveals that Gina is running in the election. Adam explodes at Sue, but Andy sends him away. Andy is shocked by the separation, and works out that there is someone else - which Sue denies. Adam walks in on Christine with Geri. Geri confronts Adam over leaving last night, with Adam having got the wrong end of the stick. Adam tells her that his parents are splitting and Geri becomes sympathetic but remains annoyed with him.
Adam seduces Christine in the office, she tells him that his timing is not good. Nikki explodes at Sam. He is disappointed when Nikki tells him to leave. Adam wants Andy to fight for their marriage, but Andy refuses and leaves. Adam takes the opportunity to confront Sue. He reveals that he saw Sue with William at New Year's and issues an ultimatum - tell Andy or he will. Dan gets answers about Nikki's affair with Sam. He asks if it's over between them.Cast
