Ruth tells Jack that he needs to treat Gina normally, and he is acting narrow-mindedly. Lewis comforts Beth as he takes her to the police station. She worries that the police will accuse her of being a liar, but Lewis points out that she was in shock.
Luke bumps into Stephen MacGregor and his brother, and tries to avoid them. Dan tries to convince Sam to go home, but Sam flatly refuses. Beth has amended her statement, and Lewis and Tony are grateful. Tony is delighted when Lucy emerges, having been released as the forensic evidence backed up her claim of Rob starting the fire.
