Synopsis
Mr. Morgan says that he has made a date with Mrs. Morgan for tonight - in a restaurant this time, to make sure that Zara won't disturb them. Beth is secretly pleased because this means that she'll have the house to herself. Once she's alone she calls Rob and invites him over to the house that evening. Rob agrees and an excited Beth tidies up her bedroom - tonight is going to be the night! Mrs. Osborne is feeling really depressed following her row with Joe and talks to Mr. Osborne about it. Ruth arrives at The Dog in the Pond and asks again where Kate is. Mrs. O refuses to give her Kate's address but says that she can pass on a message. Mr. O is annoyed that Mrs. O didn't confide in him Kate's whereabouts - doesn't she trust him anymore? Paul is pleased to see Gina, but she accuses him of being 'scab labour'. She's annoyed at Darren for sacking Sol, but is even more annoyed by Paul's lack of loyalty. Later, Darren pays Paul his wages when Sol goes over and demands his pay for the previous day. Darren refuses and they start to fight. Mrs. O and Ruth come out of the Dog, alerted by the noise and try to split them up. However, Mrs. O and Ruth also start fighting. Paul grabs the power washer and fires it at all of them. Mr. O comes out, sees the chaos and can't help laughing at them all. In a fury, Mrs. O rounds on him and asks him what he thinks is so funny? Mrs O is sick of him taking his kids side against her and tells Gina and Sol to get their things - they're leaving.Plot
