Synopsis
Myra attends her hospital appointment with Doctor Browning and is left fearful. Tony tells Cindy he wants a divorce. John Paul struggles to come clean to his family.Plot
Cindy's discharged from hospital early and digs at Tony for not picking her up, soon changing her tune when Tony tells her he's got somewhere to be. Myra's suffering a dizzy spell. Tony meets Jacqui at College Coffee. She wants him to keep his distance from her and save his marriage. Darren's arranged an appointment at the hospital for this afternoon for Oscar. Myra advises Tony to do what makes him happy. Carmel gets tough with John Paul over the baby. He snaps at her when she asks if he's struggling because of Craig.
Tony tells Cindy he wants a divorce and she's to move out. Cindy cries and begs Tony to not to leave her; Holly overhears their argument and brands them both selfish for not waiting until she'd gone back to school, but Tony doesn't care and stands by his word. Doctor Browning checks Myra over at the hospital. With her x-ray scans due back tomorrow, he suggests to Myra that she makes peace with her daughters. Darren's convinced himself that Oscar can hear him, but Nancy wonders if he's just seeing what he wants to believe. Tony refuses to hear Cindy out and tells her that he loves Jacqui more. Cindy retaliates by telling him he's a bore and reminds him that the flat and the business is hers, and she's not going anywhere.
Carmel apologises to John Paul for prying and wishes that Jesus didn't have to go to social services. When John Paul mentions he thinks it's for the best so that the baby has stability, Carmel reminds him that they all turned out fine on love and not much else. Cindy makes clear to Tony that he's to sign all his assets over to her, threatening to go to the police and tell them everything about Jacqui if he doesn't. Tony tells her he'd rather be penniless than stuck with her. A physician confirms that Oscar is deaf. Myra tells John Paul she's been to the doctors and they think she's very ill, but she doesn't want the girls knowing anything until she knows what she has herself. Tony asks Jacqui to take him back.Cast
