Synopsis
Tony, Lewis, Ruth and Lucy manage to escape from Rob when Tony is able to open the hatch door, but the quartet face their next problem when they hit a pipe grate. Cindy takes Holly runs away with Sean, planning to live off her and Sean's earnings, benefits and Holly's money in the building society. Adam says goodbye to Kerri, having decided against travelling with her. Anna is horrified to find Geri kissing Finn on her bed.Plot
Cindy is upset after Sean's departure. Carol is concerned to find that Tony's bed has not been slept in. Lucy struggles to stay awake. Rob throws a life raft into the water. Carol tells Finn that Tony, Lewis, Lucy and Ruth are still missing. Finn does not share Carol's worry. Anna's electrics are not working so she turns down an invitation by Nikki and Geri to go upstairs to meet other students in favour of waiting for an electrician. They are unable to convince her. Adam refuses to leave with Kerri. Rob also throws oxygen canisters into the water. They wonder if Rob is trying to trick them. Cindy is surprised to see that Sean has come back. He says that he has returned for his records, he has a job DJing at a caravam site. He refuses to tell her where he is going, and tells her that he will let her know when he is more settled. Cindy says that she and Holly will have to come with him.Adam wants Kerri to stay, but she refuses. She is annoyed that Adam doesn't want to go with her, and he snaps at her, calling her selfish. She tells Adam to ask Mr. Morgan why she needs to leave so soon. Lewis tries to find the oxygden canisters. Tony stops Lucy from going too. Lewis is successful in finding the cans. He has also spotted an escape hatch. Carol receives a call from Rob, he tells her to go to the river by the weir. Anna mistakes Finn for the electrician. Rob is nervous when he sees through the CCTV, that a police officer has arrived at the facility. Sean doesn't think it's a good idea for Cindy and Holly to accompany him. Sean doesn't think they can afford to look after Holly. Cindy refuses to leave Holly with Angela. Sean tells her that he cannot support them, so they cannot live with him. The officers are convinced by Rob that nobody is at the facility.
Finn manages to fix the electrics and offers to sort the headboard. He tries to flirt with her but she is uncomfortable. Anna is horrified to learn that Finn does not work at the college. Geri and Nikki interrupt, and Geri flirts with Finn. Adam confronts Kerri. Carol can't find Finn, so she tells Adam that if she is not back later, to call the police. Kerri and Adam continue to argue. Kerri says that she is having an affair with Mr. Morgan. Anna and Nikki walk in on Finn and Geri kissing. Cindy arrives at the bus stop with Holly, refusing to take no for an answer from Sean. Cindy remembers that Holly has £1,000 in the building society. Sean agrees to let her live with him. Adam says goodbye to Kerri before she leaves. She says that she made up the affair.
Lewis is unable to open the escape hatch. Lewis decides to use up his canister to open the door. Tony says that he will, he will stay in the facility as they can come back with help. Ruth tells Lewis that she loves him and that she is scared. Tony tells a barely conscious Lucy that he has feelings for her. Tony swims down and attempts to force the escape hatch door open. Carol races to the weir. Tony manages to get the door to budge. Lewis and Ruth take Lucy down with them. Rob watches as they go under the water. Tony has managed to open the door and hangs on as Lucy, Lewis and Ruth are sucked into the tunnel. He eventually loses grip and is sucked in with them. Lewis, Ruth, Tony and Lucy are blocked by a grate - they are now trapped in the tunnel.
