Synopsis
Words from a nun help Brendan realise what he truly wants. Maxine has some fun at Chez Chez. Leanne's thrilled to see Dennis again.Plot
Brendan finds out that Ste's come back to Dublin for him, but instead of welcoming him with open arms, he suggests to Ste that he reconciles with Doug. Dodger leaves Texas a voicemail, while Leanne leaves him the note from Doug when he isn't around. Before leaving his hotel room, John Paul gives Brendan words of advice over Ste. Cheryl's delighted to hear from Leanne that Ste's flown out to Dublin. Maxine and Mitzeee invite Annalise to share her ideas for a cocktail party at new year.
Cheryl rings Brendan to find out how the reunion went. When Brendan tells her that he and Ste can't be together, Cheryl unsuccessfully tries to change his mind. It soon becomes evident to Annalise that she and Maxine have very different ideas on what theme they want for the cocktail party. Brendan meets a nun in the lift of the hotel and light conversation about God wanting them to be happy helps Brendan make his mind up about his relationship with Ste. Maxine surprises Mitzeee and an uncomfortable Annalise with strippers at Chez Chez. Dodger's shocked to learn from Leanne that Texas has gone to America with Doug, having not read the letter left for him. When he gets back to the boathouse, he unknowingly knocks the letter to the floor and out of sight.
Leanne's stunned when Dennis unexpectedly walks into the deli. In the club's office, Mitzeee comes across stripper Tyson and ends up sleeping with him. Leanne vents to Dennis, struggling to juggle the deli and Ste's kids at the same time. Dennis sends Leanne off to relax whilst he finishes up at the deli and then agrees to take her for a drink. Brendan finds Ste on a bridge but Ste doesn't have time for Brendan's meaningless words. Just as he walks off, Brendan admits he loves Ste and can't live without him. They kiss on the bridge. On the same bridge, John Paul eyes up a padlock with his and Craig's names written on it.Cast
