Synopsis
Jim does all that he can to help Mercedes as Mitzeee takes to the stand. Maxine and Liam grow closer. Diane learns of Sinead's planned abortion and informs Bart.Plot
Mercedes thinks Jim's sick for using Riley in her favour but he insists Riley's the key to her freedom. Bart can't stand Kathleen-Angel's crying. Diane learns of Sinead's abortion upon looking at her laptop and rings her daughter hoping that she can change her mind, but she's unable to and Sinead sets off on the bus for her appointment. Maxine flirts with Liam at College Coffee. Mitzeee enters court. Bart and Diane catch up with Sinead outside the hospital.
Mitzeee testifies. Bart begs Sinead not to go through with the abortion. Carmel's mortified by Jim's behaviour around her during the adjournment. An angry Bart's pinned to a wall by Brendan when he smashes bottles outside Chez Chez. Jacqui intervenes and learns what's going on. With another payment from Nana under his belt, Barney takes Carmel on their next date, but it's cut short by court. Maxine and Liam come together to make a proposal to Brendan - they want to open a pop-up cocktail bar inside Chez Chez. Sinead opens up to her mother and tries to tell her that Bart might not be the father, but Bart bursts through the door before she can utter her words.
Jim interrogates Mitzeee and suggests that it could have been Riley who knocked her out before stabbing Mercedes. Jacqui discusses Sinead's options with her. Sinead tells Jacqui the baby was a big mistake. Jacqui advises Sinead to talk to Bart and break his heart sooner than later. A flirtatious Maxine and Liam get to work practicing cocktails. Liam's quietly disappointed to find out that Maxine's trying to set him up with Mitzeee. Bart stands by Sinead's decision to have an abortion. Sinead decides she's going to have the baby. Jim's clever questioning works Mitzeee up. When he suggests that Riley was also responsible for Lynsey's murder, Mitzeee begs Mercedes to tell the court the truth.Cast
