Synopsis
It's the day of the three weddings; Doug is delighted when Ste changes his mind, Tony vows to give Cindy the wedding day from hell, but Maddie's decision to take the unrepaired minibus - combined with Esther and Bart's attempts to stop Ruby and Jono's wedding - causes a major disaster involving everyone.Plot
Jack tells Frankie that Jono and Ruby won't be able to get married at Gretna Green because they don't have a licence. Jono dismisses Bart as his best man when Bart gets high and fails to find them a vehicle to travel to Gretna Green in. Ste tells Tony that his and Doug's wedding is off, although he reconsiders following a wise chat with Tony. Leanne and Texas make Doug get ready for the wedding as he's jumped to conclusions over him and Ste without talking to him first. Upon sighting Tony's empty minibus, the sixth formers decide to steal it. Tilly confronts Maddie over how she spoke to Esther before turning her back on her.
Esther helplessly watches on as the sixth formers leave the village in the minibus. Doug and Ste meet one another at the wedding venue. Esther turns to a stoned Bart for help in stopping Jono and Ruby's wedding. Cindy and Ste walk down the aisle to their respective partners. Cindy's thrilled when Holly enters the venue. Vows are exchanged and both Doug and Ste and Cindy and Tony are married. At the wedding meal, Cindy gives a heartfelt speech to Tony in front of all the guests. When it's Tony's turn to talk, he bottles outing her affair with Rhys. Upon realising the wedding cakes are in the minibus, Sinead suggests to Maddie they divert to Cindy, Tony, Doug and Ste's wedding venue to drop them off.
Rhys writes Cindy a note. Ste's furious with Doug upon listening to the voice recording he has of Brendan on his phone. Bart and Esther chase down the minibus in a car. Cindy reads Rhys's note. Rhys tells Jacqui he's leaving the wedding early as he feels unwell. The car catches up with the minibus and Neil and Sinead realise that Bart's high. The brakes stop working on the minibus. Cindy admits her love to Rhys wants to leave with him. The speeding minibus and car swerve to avoid Leah when she runs into the road. Ste is hit by the minibus as he rushes over to protect his daughter, with the minibus then ploughing through the wedding venue.Cast
