Synopsis
Jono proposes to Ruby, but both are left annoyed by Jack and Frankie's reaction. Cindy makes a choice between Tony and Rhys, whilst Doug works with Shawnee against Brendan.Plot
Tony is short-tempered with Cindy. Jono wants Ruby to skive college so they can spend time together. Ste tells Doug he wants them to get married this week! Rhys snaps at Jacqui when she distracts him from his video game. At the Folly, Jono proposes to Ruby with a gummy-ring and she accepts. At the police station, Doug starts to have doubts as he's wired up. Shawnee reminds Doug that his past isn't clean and he should prove that he's changed.
Doug meets Brendan at Chez Chez, claiming he wants to clear the air. Ruby tells Esther of her engagement to Jono; Esther notes that Jack won't be impressed with them. Jacqui checks in on Tony. Doug asks Brendan for a job involving drugs to help pay for his wedding with Ste, but Brendan refuses to entertain the idea. Tony opens up to Jacqui about his fears of being blind. Jono and Ruby tell Jack and Frankie of their engagement and are surprised at their response. Jacqui helps Tony make a hot drink. Cindy walks in on them and invites Jacqui along to Tony's hospital appointment later.
Shawnee starts to wonder if Doug's up to the job; he insists he is and just needs more time. The doctor informs Tony that his brain has swollen, but the swelling is temporary and his sight should return to normal soon. Cheryl finds Brendan at home with a packed bag and wants him to stay, but he walks out. Instead of getting angry, Frankie and Jack mock Jono and Ruby over their engagement. Cindy meets Rhys at the Folly to inform him that she's marrying Tony in ten days time. Rhys is devastated and angry. Brendan pays Father Des another visit.Cast
