Synopsis[]
Cindy and Tony are horrified when Tony starts to lose his sight. Jono finds that his reunion with Ruby could be short-lived. Doug decides that something needs to be done about Brendan.
Plot[]
Tony wakes up struggling to see so Cindy calls him an ambulance. Ruby admits to Esther that Rosie never existed. Rhys texts Cindy that Myra's on the warpath. Cindy worries for Tony at the hospital. Ste promises Doug he'll never hit him again. They sleep together. Jono discovers that Ruby got back with him in the hopes he'd stay. The doctor tells Tony that they suspect his condition is a result of the head trauma he sustained. They order him a CT scan to ascertain the level of damage to his brain.
Ste plans a night in for him and Doug. Tony tells Cindy he'd understand if she wanted to break off their engagement. Neil has an idea to put things right with Jono. Pauline surprises Doug at the deli. A hurt Esther throws her phone into the pond. Doug offers to try and talk Ste round for Pauline. When his back is turned, Pauline steals money from the till. Cindy stands by Tony. The doctor advises Tony stays in for another night, but he insists on going home. A neurologist is due to look at his CT scan tomorrow. Esther tears a strip off Ruby and then lays into Frankie. In front of Doug, Brendan pays Pauline to stay away from Ste.
Myra confronts Cindy. Cindy tears up and tells Myra that Tony's lost his eyesight, but Myra thinks Tony still deserves to hear the truth. Cindy begs Myra to give her a chance to put things right. Doug's peeved at Brendan for interfering yet again. Bart, Maddie, Neil and Sinead show Jono they support his decision to join the Army. Jono and Ruby make up and Jono wants to make his last few weeks the best weeks ever. Cindy tells Rhys that today has shown her that Tony is everything she wants. In an interview room at the police station, Doug tells an officer he can help them bring Brendan down for good.
