Synopsis
Cindy is horrified to receive a call from the hospital to inform her that Tony has been injured in an accident. Ste's violent behaviour continues, with Brendan and Doug both in the firing line. Jacqui is eager to show her commitment to Rhys, whilst Esther is left humiliated when she is the target of a prank.Plot
Doug hastily leaves the deli. Jacqui walks in on Rhys and Myra before Myra can confront Rhys. Rhys tells Jacqui they're beyond repair. Ste's deeply apologetic to Doug, who just wants to be alone. Jacqui cries to Myra, who advises her daughter to fight to the death for what she wants. Rhys tells Cindy he's leaving and wants her to go with him. Esther gets ready to meet Rosie, her online friend. The sixth formers wind Esther up over Silas and how he's still on the loose.
Cindy's shocked to learn that Tony's crashed the minibus he was driving to the venue for their engagement party as its brakes were dodgy and is heading to hospital. Maddie and Sinead tell Bart and Jono that they've tricked Esther into thinking she's meeting an online friend. Bart has an idea. Ste compares his relationship to Doug to his past relationship with Brendan. Tony is concussed. Brendan rushes to support Ste's when he loses his temper at the deli. Ste wants to understand why Brendan used to hit him when they were together. Esther leaves to meet Rosie.
Ste admits to Brendan he stayed with him despite him hitting him because he felt like he deserved it. He fears Doug will do the same. Brendan reassures Ste that he deserves Doug. Bart, Jono, Neil, Ruby, Maddie and Sinead carry out an extremely cruel prank on Esther and record it. Esther wets herself and Ruby's the only one who feels remorse. Myra makes clear to Rhys that he's to end his affair with Cindy immediately and right his wrongs with Jacqui, or else he'll pay. Tony suffers double vision at home. Doug returns to the deli to find Ste with Brendan. He jumps to conclusions and leaves before Ste can explain himself.Cast
