Synopsis
Cheryl issues Brendan an ultimatum after being offered a job in Derry by Eoghan. Doug returns to the village to find Brendan and Ste together. Dodger gives Tom advice on women, not realising the target of his affection is Texas. Jono and Bart battle on the Army assault course, whilst Jen attempts to boost Esther's self-esteem.Plot
Cheryl's spent the night at Ste's flat while Eoghan's spent the night with Brendan. Dodger's made Tom's toy to give to Oscar. Maddie invites Ruby out to brunch. Ruby and Esther bicker. Tom interrupts Dodger whilst he's spending some alone time with Texas because of Esther and Ruby's arguing; he thinks he's tearing the family apart. He's distracted when Texas disturbs their conversation in her dressing gown.
Jen thinks Esther should apply for a peer support programme at college, while Sinead and Ruby encourage Maddie to apply. Bart, Jono and Neil decide to complete an Army assault course at college. Cheryl's sickened to discover that Brendan used to bully Eoghan. Eoghan offers Cheryl a job in Derry. Esther can't catch a break from Sinead and her unkind comments. Bart, Jono and Neil complete the assault course. Brendan thanks Ste for looking after Cheryl yesterday.
Tom leaves a box of chocolates, flowers and a card for Texas outside the flat. Doug returns from California; Ste's thrilled to see him but realises he was just with Brendan. Darren's fed up of Esther and Ruby's arguing. Bart winds Jono up and pushes him into a pool. Doug doesn't warm to Ste. Cheryl turns down Eoghan's job offer. Esther wants Jen to leave her alone. Cheryl's booked her and Brendan in for family counselling but he doesn't want to go, so Cheryl makes clear that if he doesn't show up he'll be out of her life forever.Cast
